im absolutely amazed by burning man. it truly is... a special place where all the usual social norms disappear, allowing people to just build the most creative shit on earth. 80% of the burn is really hard: the prep, work, dust, and all the costs. but the other 20% is magical, and somehow makes all of it worth it. best part is, the burn is different for everyone. everything in there is a side quest and every person gets lost in a different way, which is kinda beautiful and i love it. great way to unlearn planning and having expectations and just surrendering to whatever is happening.show more
