We finally pulled the plug on per day pricing.... It had to be done. The problem with per day pricing is it always creates winners and losers. - If we’re on site for 8 hours and don’t quite finish, we feel obligated to work extra to get it done. We lose. - If we finish a project in 5 hours and the customer paid for 8, they feel like they lost. It’s a simple system to start with. Customers understand it, it’s easy to quote, but it’s not scalable. It relies too much on experience and too much back and forth. So we switched to project based pricing. Now we’ve got 3 tiers of brush density and 3 tiers of terrain. Tier 1 is easy, Tier 3 is tough. Pricing scales per quarter acre, with volume discounts on larger jobs. It seems more complex on paper, but in reality it’s repeatable, reliable, and something we can train any new hire to do. We calculate the project, send the estimate, and that’s it. No more “estimated days” language. No more winners and losers. We’re much happier with this system.show more

If we don’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster, we should put the SAVE America Act on the floor and debate it until it passes, requiring filibustering senators to speak and making clear that if they stop speaking, we can “call the question” and pass it with a simple majority. If for some reason we can’t do that—and to be clear, there’s no legitimate reason why we can’t—then we should use budget reconciliation to pass it. Yep! We spent a 21 months building Werm, and... we’re genuinely proud of how we’ve done things. We’ll keep doing everything possible to build great products. What you see now is the result of countless iterations from the version shown in the below video. With just three people, building and scaling a multiplayer game has been incredibly challenging, even large studios struggle with this. The 21 months of development were necessary. We went through multiple rebuilds, learned a ton about launches, and built real relationships across the ecosystem. We stayed away from presales and token launches because the product wasn’t ready. Now we finally feel confident to give it a real shot. There’ll be bumps along the way, but unlike most crypto projects built on hype, we’re launching with an actual product and genuine intent to make it work. We believe we’re doing it the right way and that’s how we plan to keep going. The goal is for the community to trust that when we build, it’s 100% real, never a scam. A court was only ever needed to decide what... a woman is because men decided they can be women. The law, and society, has always known what a woman is - for better or worse. No one will understand the actual turmoil of going through a court case to establish what a woman is unless you have had to do it. It’s even more stressful than the stupid premise suggests. Sleepless nights, hair falling out, sporadic inconsolable crying fits. But yet, we persist. Because we have to. For Women Scotland have my full admiration, and more. They are right, they have done the right thing and history will remember them on the right side. It’s inevitable. Men will never be women. Never tell women we’re not a reality. We know the reality all too well and will fight to defend it. Women have had to fight for everything we have. We got nothing in law and society by accident. This is just the latest fight, albeit possibly the most stupid. I cannot wait to one day take my daughter to Scotland and show her the inevitable For Women Scotland statue and tell her “they did this for you”. Thank you.
