Growing Sl8 Means Growing Its Community Our work on... expanding Sl8 never stops. One of the key priorities for Cassator is continuously bringing new users and new creators into the ecosystem - not through isolated campaigns, but by building long-term relationships with influencers, communities, and partners across different markets. Today, Sl8 is already supported by a growing number of influencers from different countries and across multiple social platforms. This gives us a strong foundation to keep expanding our reach, strengthening awareness around the platform, and introducing Sl8 to new audiences. One of the markets currently in active development is the GCC region, where we are now significantly scaling our presence. We are preparing a large-scale creator campaign focused on bringing new audiences into Sl8, and 48 influencers have already agreed to work with us as part of this expansion. At the same time, negotiations continue with a much broader pool of creators across the region. Our approach is to enter each new market through relevant local creators and communities, building awareness around Sl8 and converting that attention into a growing, engaged user base. The expansion process continues to gain momentum, with new creators, partnerships, and markets joining the Sl8 ecosystem step by step.show more

We are extremely proud of this achievement that we... have accomplished together. We truly risked our lives to reach this place, as it is located very close to military deployment areas, and the road was extremely dangerous at every moment. We have now started our new project to provide clean drinking water, and this truck is heading to one of the most dangerous and heavily affected areas. The work is exhausting and extremely tiring, but the need for clean water cannot wait. Displaced families are facing a severe shortage of safe drinking water, and more people are relying on this support every day. Today, we are launching water truck number 11 as part of this project, continuing despite all challenges and risks. Please share this post and follow our organization’s account to support the continuation of this life-saving work.show more

We are 7 days into our epic Trans Karoo Spirit Ride across our beautiful country and 8th night in a different hotel bed. 700km finished. Today we ride from BarryDale to Montagu and tomorrow we finish in Blouberg strand at 12 and prepare for the Cape Town Cycle Tour to cap off an amazing ride across South Africa. What a wonderful experience with 14 wonderful gentlemen from Rotary Clubs of Empangeni and Mtunzini. Yazzy is being looked after by a palliative care home called the Butterfly Home. Cardi B Shows How Artists Can Skip the Middleman... One of the biggest shifts in music is right in front of us: artists can now drop their work straight to the public through social media. Whether you like the artist or not, that ability to share new music or content with the world immediately is a real revolution. Social media has plenty of downsides, but this part is hard to argue against. As for Cardi B, I’m not a fan of her music or her in general. But I do respect how effectively she uses social media to market herself and stay connected with her audience. This is based on a recent Instagram post of hers from July 27 — I’m not sharing the actual song. (Video: AI) The old gatekeepers don’t hold the same power anymore.show more

Can Adobe Firefly's "Edit" feature compete with Photoshop? Select... a region, describe the fix, keep the rest of the frame intact. That's the pitch. Here’s what we observed across 4 sessions and 8 targeted edits with real working creatives: >1 edit landed cleanly 🥇 >5 landed partial 🥈 >2 missed entirely ❌ Firefly understood the request almost every time, it just couldn't hold the rest of the image still while executing it. Avoiding drift is hard. In the partials, the target moved but something else broke. >A product lost prominence / focus >A shadow stayed broken >A new artifact appeared on the wall while the format crept closer to the brief Social was the hardest category. 0 clean wins across 4 attempts. With social content, crop, pose, and product placement ARE the deliverable, so any drift fails the job. TLDR: Firefly can edit like Photoshop, but avoiding drifts is the real challenge. I personally use this feature a lot, how have you solved for this ?show more

All across the UK this is happening and it... is happening every single day. The Patriot Platform is building a real resistance movement. These English and British men understand what is at stake. They know we must have a way to push back. While too many sit in the comfort of their homes, tapping at a laptop or phone and telling themselves they are doing their part, they are not. These men know it is time to do something different. This is a Christian country. This is England. This is our homeland. By the grace of God, we will protect her. On Saturday I’ll show what I’ve built in a matter of weeks! And then we go to work! 🏴🇬🇧show more

I’m joining OpenAI Codex to work on the future... of agentic development! At Cursor, I got to see the shift from autocomplete to agents. The next step isn’t a better IDE. It’s an Agent Development Environment (ADE): systems and tools for orchestrating agents, reasoning over their outputs, and making them autonomous enough to reliably complete ambitious work. After chatting with Alexander Embiricos and Tibo, it was clear that Codex is the best place to realize this vision. The team has consistently shipped SOTA models for agentic coding (check out gpt-5.3-codex) and I’m pumped for the future that the new Codex App points to. What I’m most excited about is the broader mission: accelerating the knowledge work economy. All agents are coding agents, and we’re already seeing Codex used across every job function within organizations. I’m extremely grateful for my time at Cursor, working with the incredible team, and I’m proud of what we built together. I’m excited to take an even bigger swing with Codex. If you’re curious to get a glimpse of where we are headed, download the Codex App! If you want to work on this mission, please apply or reach out - we are hiring across all functions! You can just build things.show more

Due to overwhelming high demand, a number of orders... from our first batch have unfortunately been moved to the second batch, which is now 90% ordered! Our manufacturers are hard at work to keep up with strong demand and we estimate that the second batch will now be sent the latter part of June. As part of this second batch we will update you by email with Fedex tracking numbers so you can see in real time where the mining rig is in the system. We apologize to those affected by this production demand, but rest assured us and the manufacturers are working hard to clear the backlog. Thank you for your patience and support!show more

We’re building more homes right across the country, like... these 100 new homes ready to go here in Prospect. But we know more supply is only part of the answer. That’s why we’re changing unfair tax breaks for investors to make the housing system better for first home buyers. And helping more Australians buy a home with just a 5% deposit. Because if you work hard and save, you should have a fair go at owning a home.show more

everyone asks how I have so much energy all... the time.. and the answer is I don’t . it sucks & that first mile of every run questions your entire being . why are u doing this? but life is not easy and a little tough work feels good. The answer isn’t running it’s just looking past the hard part and seeing a goal. the work sucks but the reward is what we are looking for. when I started the run club events, I never thought I would bring together so many people for 9 am parties.. trust me we are inherently night people. we have everybody from 7 yr old kids to groups of moms running 6 minute miles .. I love that anyone can do this and come rage with me with at a balanced lock in vs crash out morning. San Francisco - October 11 Los Angeles - October 12 New York - October 25show more

-Google has removed the social media app UpScrolled from... its store. The app is an alternative platform founded by a Palestinian living in Australia in response to restrictions on freedom of expression on major platforms. -YouTube has deleted the channel of American activist YourFavoriteGuy after he posted content criticizing the genocide. -An Israeli employee at Israel’s Paragon Solutions mistakenly revealed the live interface of the company’s Graphite spyware in a LinkedIn post. -Pager attack. - Severe shadow banning on X and the deliberate mislabeling of media as “graphic.” - The takeover of TikTok and the policies followed. This only accelerates the decline of the current world order. Once a sovereign country bans Western communication devices, companies, social media apps, app stores, and operating systems, it is no longer about being “anti–freedom of speech,” but rather a matter of national security. That rhetoric will no longer work. We are in an era where everything is out in the open, as Sinwar promised: “This city (Gaza) will expose everyone.” (VIDEO)show more

This is a new kind of social media -... one that incentivizes creation and sharing, not simply just consumption. Social is a crucial component to creativity: seeing others' creations inspires your own. Eventually I expect we will the emergence of something like Github for media creation, where people can have version control, build on others' work, and iterate on art masterpieces they are proud of. Remixing is the core feature, native to Sora, that makes this social experience possible. The Sora team really cooked on making it super easy to riff on other's ideas! Truly a "Greatness Cannot Be Planned" (h/t Kenneth Stanley Joel Lehman ) phenomenon, but at global scale. Here is a fun video I made of Eric Mintun riding a wiener dog 😀 and a remix I made by giving the dog a pink coat with polka dots and a chicken head (h/t Ruben Villegas )show more

Fellow Kenyans, open your eyes. Stop waiting for the... media to tell you the truth they sold that privilege years ago. Today, every major station is an auction floor. Citizen, KTN, NTV they air what the highest bidder wants. Silence is bought. Headlines are bought. Reality is buried. While cameras chase staged events and political PR, your public hospitals are collapsing in real time. Mbagathi is turning patients away. Mama Lucy is barely functioning. Workers are on go-slow because the county hasn’t paid them. Ambulances are parked. Wards are understaffed. Patients are stranded. But turn on the 1PM 7PM 9pm news… nothing. Doctors and nurses are drowning in unpaid bills but expected to treat patients with a smile. How do they serve when they can’t afford to survive? How do they save lives when the system they work for is suffocating them? And when universal healthcare workers were forced into one bank and quietly deducted 40 shillings each over a million people the media didn’t ask a single question. Because you can’t ask questions when your microphone is owned. Our leaders? MCAs, MPs, Senators, Women Reps not one of them is shouting about unpaid medical workers. Apparently their relatives don’t fall sick in public hospitals. Apparently their children don’t queue at KNH at dawn. Apparently pain is only for the poor. Sakaja is presiding over a healthcare breakdown while hiding behind political shields. The government defends him because collapse is easier to cover than accountability. And listen carefully people: The government can gamble with everything else, but not health. Health is life and death. Health is dignity. Health is the one area where lies cannot treat wounds or cure disease. Ruto will fly out for treatment. Kihika will deliver in foreign hospitals. The political class will escape the mess they created. But you the ordinary kenyan are left to fight for a bed at KNH. And the media? Silent. Paid. Busy. Owned. That silence is not accidental. It is deliberate. It is deadly. Now here is the real question: How long will you let silence rule your life? How long will you suffer and then reward the same people at the ballot? Elections are not about noise, rallies, or hashtags. Elections are the one day when the oppressed speak louder than the rich. One day where your suffering becomes your weapon. So mark this clearly: On voting day, don’t complain act. Don’t whisper decide. Don’t say “they’re all the same” choose the one who will fight for your hospital, your medicine, your life. Because if you let these people back in, if you give them another five years, you are signing your own discharge sheet from the very system that is supposed to save you. This time, Kenya must vote like it has learned its lesson. For health. For education. For transport. For dignity. For truth. For survival.show more

Please read‼️Khartoum Aid Kitchen started out almost 4 months... ago as a pilot project between me and my Cousin Yaseen where we served one pot of fortified lentil stew with bread in the Hitana neighbourhood of Omdurman to 80 needy families (400 individuals). Today our Hitana kitchen has expanded to feed 1,600 hungry people everyday. Me and Yusuf wanted to replicate the success of the Hitana Kitchen across Khartoum State so we worked hard to expand our operation. Today the Khartoum Aid Kitchen initiative is the largest community Kitchen operation in #Sudan and has 23 community kitchens affiliated with it. We have hundreds of hard working volunteers and we feed 15,000 hungry people a day and are working to reach more. In addition to this we are also providing food assistance to thousands of those who have been displaced from Khartoum State. We receive no funding from NGO’s or Governments and are completely dependent on your donations in order to continue our vital work. If you are able to donate please do so, if not then we ask that you share widely 🙏🏽show more

As I sit here in DC this week, we... are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.show more
