Statistically, if "yo Black ass" is the only "Black... ass" in the room, you're the safest you've ever been. Blacks commit more violent crime than anyone else, and even Black women have violent crime rates that are as high (or higher) than White men. This is why you try to live around us as soon as you have enough money. This is why you try to get your kids into "good schools" (i.e., ones where Whites are the overwhelming majority). If "yo Black ass" is the only "Black ass" in the room, YOU are the one most likely to make the room UNSAFE.show more

What happens when a bullsh*tting integrative holistic wellness coach... meets the pseudoscience poster boy of India? Intense mental constipation and explosive verbal diarrhea. In todays edition of "This Does Not Happen", we discuss "Fasting, Gut Health and Gut "Reset." First, intergrated medicine is a fraudulent practice. And make no mistake, functional medicine is too. See here and here Fasting is overrated. For those who did not understand that Overrated meaning: valued too highly or have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved. There is nothing called as "gut health." Microbiome scientists have never identified or defined what a "healthy microbiome in the gut is," but have only figured out some beneficial gut bacteria. Every holistic coach, every alternative medicine practitioner, every half-baked gastroenterologist (*cough* Pal *cough* *cough*), every overconfident nutritionist and science-defying dietitian-influencer on the internet has abused the word "gut health" so much that it has started featuring on Ayurvedic, Homeopathic and Naturopathic products which science-illiterate people lap up wholesale. Trust me, none of them have any clue what the gut microbiome means and what its functionality & potential truly are. No one knows in fact and medical science is only figuring it out - one step at a time. The only time where medical science actually found value of a "gut reset" is the role of healthy donor stool transplant to treat severe, recurrent Clostridium difficile infections. Fasting does modulate the intestinal bacteria. But NOT so much that it RESETS the whole gastrointestinal system. It is quite stupid to think of it that way. Fasting was shown to increase populations of certain bacteria. But this is in no way a "detox" (another fraudulent wellness selling term) and no way a "reset." For example, when the gut is empty, mucosal slime inside intestines increase and a specific bacteria that feeds of the slime outcompetes other bacteria and increases - called Lachnospira. That is not a reset at all. Every study on fasting and "gut health" has been very basic, based on biochemical or molecular parameters and none clinically translated into beneficial interventions. Even the other commonly used term "autophagy" in the exercise/diet/nutrition/health-influencer circles is complete hocus pocus. Yes, autopaghy exists, but there is absolutely NO clinical evidence that such a process with fasting does anyone anything good. "Fasting and autophagy" related speculative benefits have NOT yet been demonstrated in real-world clinical trials involving people. Fast is you feel like it. If you can tolerate it. If you are pious and your religion warrants it. But dont think its resetting anything, other than your confirmational bias, which has been strengthened by your personal, anecdotal experience which is further strengthened by your exposure to videos that "hijack science sounding terms" narrated by "overconfident medical-science-pirates," who keep lying, day in and day out on the internet.show more

Here is the perpetually outraged and absolutely ungrateful Senator... Merheen Faruqi considering herself a second class citizen. With a tonne of investment properties and the privilege of a role in the Senate, she does little to improve the lives of Australians in Australia. She sows division. Proof positive multiculturalism has failed. Do you want anything from Senator Faruqi? I don't. If you have no interest in assimilating, why on earth did you come? I don't know what her life would have been like if she stayed in Pakistan, but it seems to me she does rather well for herself here. I say good luck to her. But, surely she must show some gratitude to us - the Australian taxpayers of all backgrounds - and do us the service of putting Australia first. Since the end of white Australia the nation has welcomed people from around the world. Those who want to join in and be a part of it, have been welcome to do so, and many like the good Senator have done very well. I say the condition of entry must be that you leave your baggage at the door. Right now, Australia has too many of its own problems to deal with rather than pick up the cultural fights of others. I just want Australia back.show more

Twelve months ago at this time, we would’ve bet... Mississippi State would be sending two DTs to last year’s Panini Senior Bowl. However, that changed when Jaden Crumedy suffered wrist injury in fall camp and missed first 9 games of season. Former teammate & current Seahawks rookie Cam Young boosted his stock in Mobile last February and now Crumedy returns as one of our top-graded DT in 2024 class. Bottom line, Mississippi State Football defense looked different with Crumedy on the field late last season. Crumedy is a good all-around athlete for his size (6040v, 311v), he’s physical at POA, and he does nice job re-directing to make plays behind LOS. Jaden Crumedy also has combination of quickness and explosion to be a legit factor on third-downs at next level (see clip 👇!!!) which is why he could be drafted even higher than Young was last April (4th round). NFL scouts trying to make a case for Crumedy will point to last year’s Georgia game where he did some really good things against Steelers’ first-rounder Broderick Jones—he made💰 that day, for sure. #BestoftheBest , #TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️show more

"Why are young women using walking sticks?" One of... the newer trends among Leftists is to use walking sticks or wheelchairs. I've seen this going on for a long time, but didn't think much of it until this article came out several days ago and Leftists had meltdowns over it. The people doing it tend to be fully capable of walking and functioning perfectly fine when they're in the mood to do it. They almost always identify as some form of LGBT, tend to be female, are often overweight, usually don't work, and are often self diagnosed with things like ADHD, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines..., which they claim cause their disabilities. There are countless people with actual disabilities who are often in severe pain, truly have issues with walking, are missing limbs, mostly paralyzed, have difficulty speaking, are deaf or blind, have different diseases that they fight against every day..., yet they try their best to function like most people, work, get degrees, have families, socialize.... People with true disabilities tend to treat them like abilities. They have something that may be seen as a a disability, but instead treat it as a slight disadvantage that pushes them try doing just as good, if not better than everyone else. They don't make it their whole identity. These "disabled" Leftists on the other hand make it their whole identity. Their bios and posts are full of them trying to push how "disabled" they are. The real disability of theirs is laziness and feeling the need to victimize themselves in order to get attention that they don't get otherwise and probably didn't get enough of when they were younger. There is now "disability pride month" to push how much of a victim their self diagnosis made them because they need a month to remind you of it every day instead of every other day. I'm all for having a month, week, or day to celebrate truly disabled people who overcome their disabilities every day, but most of what I've seen is these scumbags taking over such things. These same people would have a meltdown over "cultural appropriation," yet here they are pretending to be disabled. It's a disgrace.show more

Yet another unglued Trump rally in Potterville, Michigan today... that the media won’t cover. Let’s recap it: Donald showed up an hour and 27 minutes late. The workers in the crowd were using their “drill baby drill” signs to fan themselves because they were so hot. Even the news anchors were whining about the heat. A few days after he said that mortagages have gone up “four times,” he now claims they’ve “trippled.” He can’t even keep his lie straight. He had trouble saying “mortgage,” “seen,” “posthumously,” “industry,” and “comrade." He’s crying about Biden sleeping in public on the beach. He’s obsessed with Biden. He’s also not one to talk since he slept through his criminal trial. He said he just did an interview with NBC News backstage. Explains why he was late. He’d rather get airtime than show up on time to his rally while people were overheating. He talked about abortions after birth multiple times. Bro is so disgusting with this lie. He says nobody knows who VP Harris is. Yet he's talking about her. He again proves he doesn’t understand that “Marxism” and “Communism” are different. He claimed the “polls are rigged.” They’re only rigged when he’s losing. He’s cringing that Harris is refusing to sit down for an interview. She already did. It’s airing tonight. He claims “thousands of people” are there. No, they’re not. He ooohs and goos over a “beautiful young daughter” in the crowd. GROSS. 🤮 He calls the United Auto Workers “crazy.” That’s gonna go great for him. 🍿 He claimed we won’t be making cars in the US in 2 years. He’s claiming the reason why he lost Michigan is because “Democrats cheat.” Mkay, old man. All those lawsuits said that’s fake news. He claims that he shouldn't be talking about the building that he owns in San Franscisco. He then says he lost billions of dollars on it. He’s fear mongering about WW3 for about the 2304048th time in 10 years. He’s crying about Democrats talking about him when all he does is whine about Democrats. Stable genius in action. 🙄 He implies he’s being treated worse than Abraham Lincoln, who was killed. OMG. Once again he’s saying that the Presidential Medal of Freedom is better than the Medal of Honor given to our troops. His constant disrespect and contempt for our military is disgusting. He’s pushing the Wuhan lab conspiracy theory again. He’s bragging about his tarriffs saying that he saved jobs by placing tarrifs on China. Not true. He lost jobs, people committeed suicide as a result, and it crushed our economy. He thinks energy prices are called “electrical prices.” He claimed there’s only one oil refinery in the world. Bro’s mind is mashed potatoes. He said “we’re closing down all our plants” and won’t have enough electricity for anything anymore. He said we’re going to have to replace every bridge and all of the roads in the country because how heavy electric batteries are. FFS. I’m pretty sure he said “pork” instead of “torque.” I’m snort laughing. He immediately says other people “are deranged.” Methinks he’s projecting again. His face looks like it’s melting off. Imagine Rudy Giuliani’s hair dye but on Donald’s face. It's bad. He read his name out loud on the teleprompter, “under President Trump.” HAHAHA! He’s back to whining about VP Harris not doing an interview. He knows it’s already been recorded. He thinks that “no tax on tips” will help our retired seniors. Sure, bro. I'm sure 90 year-olds are really gonna be helped by that. He claimed he's gonna make insurance companies pay for IVF (these procedures cost upwards of $50k). I’m pretty sure he’s a) lying b) going to lose some donors over this. He claims he was right about everything. Uh…someone put this guy in a nursing home. He’s delusional. He says VP Harris "doesn’t care about sex slavery” when she literally created a department in California to tackle it. He said she doesn’t care about the cost of food, but he’s also whining about her talking about wanting to go after companies who price gouge. He said nobody wanted Bernie Sanders to be president, not true. I voted for him in the primaries back when. He called Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” multiple times. He lied and says that states are deciding whether or not to give sex changes to kids. He calls VP Harris “uncaring.” Hilarious coming from a man who made these people wait for almost 30 minutes in the heat while he did an interview. He’s lying about the incident at Arlington National Cemetery and says that he “doesn’t need the publicity.” He claimed that she failed to prosecute “pedophiles and child abusers” when she was a prosecutor and the AG. Again, she literally created a department to do that. He said she never went to the border. Then he said she went to a place on the border where people would want to have dinner. She said she didn’t speak to anyone when she was there. There’s literally video of her talking to people and touring the border multiple times. He said “I have your back, I have your heart, I have every part of your body.” WHAT THE ACTUAL EFF?!?!?!?!? He may be Hannibal Lecter. He claims that "thougands and thousands" of people, “as far as the eye can see” outside of his tiny little rally. He’s hallucinating, and lying again. He tried to do an accent of a Russian and it sounded like he was plugging his nose. He’s whining about “Critical Race Theory.” I thought MAGA forgot about that. He’s lying again about the biologically female Algerian boxer in the Olympics and called her a man and “a horse.” I hate this man. He’s trying to tell us what’s “demeaning to women.” Not letting us choose what to do with our own bodies is the epitome of “demeaning.” He claims Republicans “love women.” I nearly vomited. He’s crying about President Biden again. He really misses him. He blames COVID for projects he didn’t complete, despite having over 3 years to complete them prior to the pandemic. The last thing he said is that he hopes people vote for him, otherwise “our country is finished.” Gotta love those dog whistles. - Another message for the media: DO YOUR DAMN JOBS AND COVER THIS MAN’S UNHINGED RANTS AND CONSTANT LIES AT HIS RALLIES!!!!!show more

We were told “no one wants to work” so... the Liberals opened the floodgates and brought in hundreds of thousands of TFWs. This is what that looks like in 2026. Customer using self-checkout while the “essential worker” sits on the machine scrolling her phone. This is the new normal. Youth used to get these jobs. Students, new grads, people trying to get their first start. Now those positions are filled with temporary foreign workers who have zero incentive to actually work hard or give good service — because the government keeps the tap wide open. And we’re seeing the results everywhere: - Self-checkout hell at Walmart, No Frills, and Loblaws - Tim Hortons and fast food that tastes like it was made by someone who genuinely doesn’t care - Service that went from “mediocre” to “why did I even bother leaving the house?” Canadians were lied to. There were never “no workers.” There were just wages and conditions that got worse while the government imported cheaper, more compliant labour to keep corporate profits high and suppress wages. Now we have higher unemployment among young Canadians than we’ve seen in years, while stores are full of people who treat the job like a paid break. This isn’t compassion. This isn’t helping anyone. It’s a deliberate policy that screwed over an entire generation of Canadian kids so big corporations could keep labour costs low. If you’re still defending this system, you’re defending the reason your own kids can’t find decent work. Drop a 🔥 if you’re done watching this country get played. #cdnpoli #TFW #YouthUnemployment #LiberalFail #CanadaFirst #Walmartshow more

🚨BIG BREAKING : RBI Governor Brutally EXPOSED Modi Government🔥🔥... At the Kautilya Economic Conclave, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said something every Indian should hear : "Today's resilience may not necessarily imply tomorrow's immunity." He said stress "can build overnight, but take years to resolve and can be very painful." He reminded everyone that it took India more than a decade to clean up the bad loans from the early 2000s, and that "we cannot afford to become complacent." He also said the West Asia conflict has added to inflation pressure. To be fair, he said there are no imminent signs of stress. But the warning is clear : don't sit comfortable. Bro, imagine you run a small tiffin service. Your rent goes up, your gas goes up, your vegetable bill goes up, and every month someone comes and tells you that everything is fine. Then one day a bigger bill arrives, and the one who said "fine" is nowhere to be found. So here is what I want to ask Modi ji : while the Governor is saying "be careful", why does your government keep selling only the good news ? Where are the honest numbers on jobs, on prices, and on exporters who say US buyers have stopped bulk orders? The USTR has said the India-US trade deal is "not imminent." Where is the plan? A Governor who warns is doing his job. A government that only celebrates is not. Modi ji, listen to the warning before the bill arrives. 🔥🔥🔥show more

I am only discussing locations that have already been... compromised and that were heavily involved with corruption. Furthermore, I am only showing who's already gone public to display corroboration. We are not looking to needlessly risk, cause collateral damage, or destabilize. We merely need public engagement in good faith regarding the narrative and the truth of the matter. There has been dire consequences for every whistleblower that has addressed this through the proper channels and everything all of us see on 'TV' (/all/social media) is a spit in the face of every American. Here is J.A.S.O.N. Advisory Group's Project 7716: Joshua Killough, confirming (Ed) Hunter Field as well. Many of these MK-ULTRA derived behavioral modification and enhanced development programs have obscure names, and the worst atrocities and crimes against humanity are not logged. This is all intelligently designed and competently compartmentalized. The leading sinister minds have been running these programs. Many of us were all raised and trained to see people as less than us... and less than human. Many were used in false flag operations and various crimes against humanity. Many for domestic assassinations and... things that no one would do unless they had been brainwashed. Of course, there are many programmed for other non combat related specialized skills, but - by the next post - the focus should be appreciated due to the oversight involved and the imminent threat it poses to every American. Some of this conditioning already came out because of WACO (as did facts about the 160th/Black Army), and the torturous preconditioning of children was also discussed at the 1995 ACHRE, but it was promptly swept under the rug. It's true what people hear about some civilians being 'MK Programmed Sleepers ~ Patsies and/or Shooters'... many are processed through the NDEA>TALENT>GATE/STEM>ASSOCIATES>MK SUBPROJECT pipeline. Certain selects end up routed into the service as well, receiving further training, becoming less expendable... but many assets are already multi generational within the Military/Intelligence/Industrial Complex - and are being essentially line bred and funneled/routed/placed - unbeknownst to them. The process is extremely sophisticated and intelligently designed, developed, and honed over a long, long time. Note why it is known to insiders as EDward Hunter Field ~ after the journalist/intelligence agent who coined the term. Next post, we get to the point the public needs to see you being notified about!show more

This is the incorruptible body of Saint Bernadette Subrious... (one of my favourite saints). She died at the age of 35. Saint Bernadette Soubirous, was a poor peasant girl from Lourdes who claimed that the Virgin Mary appeared to her 18 good times. People mocked her, questioned her, investigated and doubted her during her lifetime and suddenly later believed her after the miracle of Lourdes. She died in 1879. Thirty years later, in 1909, her body was exhumed. They were expecting to find only bones. Instead, they found a remarkably preserved body. When her body was exhumed in 1909, witnesses and physicians documented that it was remarkably well preserved, with the skin and body largely intact. They buried her again. She was exhumed again in 1919 (40 years after her death), they couldn't believe their eyes. Third exhumation in 1925, 46 years in the ground, same result, incorrupt. Across the exhumations, the preservation of her body was documented by medical professionals. Today, her body remains on display at the Chapel of Saint Bernadette in Nevers, France. You don't have to believe in miracles simply because someone tells you to. But you should at least ask the question: Why has this case endured for more than a century? Why were there multiple examinations? Why was her body found so remarkably preserved? And why is the Church still presenting her story to the world? The Catholic Church does not teach that every incorrupt body is automatically a miracle. But cases like Bernadette's certainly deserve investigation rather than dismissal. Sometimes, the evidence deserves a closer look. St Bernadette Subrious, pray for us.show more

JESSICA FROM FLORIDA WENT VIRAL BECAUSE A DOLPHIN JUMPED... ON HER AT A MARINE PARK AND THE INTERNET COULD NOT STOP REWATCHING WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE. 3.8 MILLION VIEWS. JESSICA WAS NEVER AT THE PARK. THE DOLPHIN NEVER JUMPED. Thread. A girl sits at the edge of a platform. A dolphin launches out of the water and lands on her. She falls back laughing. The dolphin stays on top of her. Her mom stands behind her losing it. Eleven seconds. The viewer watches it once for the dolphins. The viewer watches it four more times for the angle. Nobody sat at the edge. Nobody got jumped on. Nobody's mom was there. The dolphin is the bait object and it is the best one in the entire series. Peaches, bananas, sausages require the viewer to make the connection. A dolphin lying on top of a girl in a bikini does not require anything. The visual is the suggestion. The viewer does not need to decode it. The brain processes it before the conscious mind catches up. That is why the loop count is higher than every other clip we have covered. The marine park is the 7-Eleven. American flag on the pole. Wooden pier. Turquoise Caribbean water. A real facility that exists at a real location. The operator placed two generated women into a real dolphin encounter and the environment did what every real background in this series does. It made the viewer's brain file everything in the frame as part of the same reality. The "mom" is doing what the Texas mom did with the banana. She is the permission structure. A girl alone with a dolphin on top of her reads as content. A girl with her mom laughing behind her reads as a family vacation that went wrong. The mom turns the clip from suggestive to funny. And funny is shareable. Suggestive gets saved. Funny gets sent. The operator wants both. The girl never looks at the camera. She looks at the dolphin. She looks at her mom. She laughs. She reacts. The operator learned what every clip teaches. Reaction sells reality. A girl who is surprised by a dolphin feels more real than a girl who poses for one. The water splashes correctly. The dolphin's skin catches sunlight the right way. The platform is wet where it should be wet. But the girl casts a shadow that does not match the dolphin's shadow. Two different light sources in the same frame. One was rendered. One was filmed. They were never in the same ocean. That park has never had that visitor. That dolphin has never jumped on anyone. But you already sent the clip to three group chats with the caption "bro look at this."show more

He buys weather contracts for 2–20 cents and sells... them for $1. After 2 months, he makes $8,938 in profit. 2,782 transactions, with individual transactions yielding returns of 500–4,300%+. How it works: Polymarket asks: “Will the high in London be 19°C on June 9?” For forecasts 1–3 days in advance, weather models (GFS, ECMWF) have an accuracy of ±1°C. The market does not take this into account and estimates the probability roughly - Hence the gap between the price and the actual probability. Input logic: - Buys Yes at 2–20¢ when their own probability assessment is significantly higher than the market price - Diversifies across cities: London, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Istanbul, Istanbul - Maintains a small position size ($20–200) - limited risk, high upside potential Why doesn't everyone do this: It takes discipline to check the forecast every day and quickly open positions within a narrow time window. The market is inefficient precisely because most traders don't want to bother with weather APIs just for a few cents' difference in price. This isn't investment advice - it's just a good example of an information edge in a niche market.show more

It hurts to say this, but it’s the truth.... I’m disappointed in the amount of issues I’ve had with my R1S. This is going to be a long post. I’m disappointed that an issue that was found AT DELIVERY (Feb 8th, 2024) is still not solved. I owe it to all of you, especially my followers, to be open and honest. No car is perfect, but at some point you have to stop with the “I’m going to be nice and keep giving you chance after chance.” I live about 90 miles away from my service center. So that is 180 miles round trip. I’ve had 8 service appointments with number 9 scheduled for this Monday! 9th appt is for the R1T front driver suspension sagging. Some of my issues were solved. But the major issue on my R1S is not resolved sadly. The issue is my passenger door. It’s badly out of alignment, makes lots of noise when driving and rattles. The door has been realigned 4x now, the hinges have been replaced and it’s still making the noise and rattling and not able to be aligned. Now, the door is worse than at delivery and is rubbing the fender when you open it. It has now pulled paint off the door. I was told, that “Other R1S are doing this and currently no fix that engineering will have to come up with some fix.” Video attached. My R1S & R1T are leased. Between my R1T and my R1S, I have driven roughly 1450 miles of my lease mileage limit in service appt trips. I think this is unacceptable for ANY Vehicle regardless of power train. The R1S has done about 1k miles of the 1450. What I would say going forward, if you are buying a Rivian product, DO NOT TAKE DELIVERY of the vehicle if there is anything wrong with it at all. Make them find you another VIN. I still support Rivian. They are dear to my heart. But enough is enough. With almost 200k worth of vehicles in my garage, this is NOT the experience anyone would expect. I have had my share of issues with my Tesla vehicles, but nothing to this scale where I have been to a service center this much so early in the ownership. I have begun background processing about the situation, and expressed our intention and what we want done. I want to make this clear as well: every time I go to service, they are super nice & friendly. I appreciate that so much but, at the end of the day, it can’t get my R1S fixed. I will still continue to support Rivian just like I do with all EVs. But this does make me question my R2 purchase when it comes time. As much as I don’t want to go back to an all Tesla household, it’s looking like that is what will happen. I strongly LOVE my R1S. It’s been one of my absolute favorites. Mine just isn’t built well at all and sours the entire experience. Maybe if the background process makes progress and they do the right thing, or replace the vehicle our perception can change. There are plenty of ppl out there without issue. So keep that in mind. I’m just not one of them unfortunately. I’ll do my best to keep this updated as things progress. I’m hoping Rivian just does the right thing.show more

🚨Zlatan Ibrahimović on PSG replacing Kang-in Lee with Akliouche... — only for Kang-in Lee to score on his Atlético Madrid debut. 🗣️ “I am Zlatan. I don’t study projects. I kill them or I build them. Paris has a habit. They always think they are smarter than the pitch. They sold the Korean who creates something from nothing, then spent fifty million on the French one so the story looks clean. Same old film. Different actors. I watched them do it before. They let real talent walk because it didn’t fit the nice picture they wanted to sell. They preferred the comfortable name over the uncomfortable one who actually changes games. Then they act surprised when the comfortable name looks average under pressure. Kang-in Lee scores a pure golazo on his Atletico debut — chest, three men left standing, left-foot rocket into the far corner — and they name him Man of the Match after thirteen minutes. The Korean they treated like a luxury substitute just reminded everyone why talent doesn’t need a French passport. Meanwhile they spent fifty million on the French boy because he’s French. Because the media will smile. Because the federation will clap. Because the project now cares more about identity than about winning the hard nights. I saw this disease before. When politics and nationality become more important than the left foot that can unlock a game, the dressing room starts rotting. Lee was never given a real role in that 4-3-3. He created when the game was stuck. They sold him for profit and replaced him with the local product so they can say ‘look how French we are.’ Talent does not carry a passport. Quality does not need a birth certificate from the banlieue. Lee just proved it in Madrid while they were still explaining why the nationality mattered more than the performance. This is not new. Paris has always mixed ambition with insecurity. They want to look French when it is convenient. They want to look global when it is fashionable. They never simply want the best player available. That is why they keep repeating the same soft mistakes. I have no problem with French players. I have a problem with weak decisions. Talent does not need a passport. Quality does not need approval from the federation. If you choose the flag over the football, don’t cry when the football leaves you behind. I arrived and forced them to raise the standard. I didn’t care about passports. I cared about winners. Now they are back to checking flags before they check the left foot. That is not strategy. That is fear dressed as identity. Madrid just took the better footballer. Paris took the safer narrative. One club chose the goal. The other chose the story. I don’t do stories. I do truth. And the truth is simple… they chose the wrong one again.”show more

What in the world happened to Los Angeles? Leftism... did. Socialism. Egalitarianism. Progressivism. Nihilism. The Democrat playbook. Los Angeles has become one of the clearest examples of what critics see as the failure of modern progressive urban government. The city sits on extraordinary natural advantages: beautiful weather, Pacific trade, world class universities, enormous cultural influence, immense private wealth, and an economy larger than that of many countries. Yet despite those advantages, Los Angeles has struggled with homelessness, housing costs, street disorder, public drug use, crime concerns, failing infrastructure, and a cost of living that has pushed many working- and middle-class families toward the exits. This decline is not accidental. For decades, Los Angeles has been governed almost entirely by Democratic and progressive political coalitions. Their policies have often emphasized regulation, environmental review, tenant protections, expansive social programs, restrictive zoning, and a criminal-justice approach aimed at reducing incarceration. Supporters say these policies protect vulnerable residents and correct longstanding inequalities. Critics counter that, taken together, they have produced a city where it is extraordinarily difficult to build housing, expensive to operate a business, difficult to remove dangerous encampments, and increasingly common for ordinary citizens to feel that basic rules are selectively enforced. The homelessness crisis is perhaps the most visible symbol. Billions of dollars have been spent, yet tents, addiction, mental illness, and human misery remain visible across parts of the city. The failure is particularly striking because Los Angeles is not a poor city lacking resources. It is a rich city that has repeatedly demonstrated that spending more money does not automatically produce competent government. Compassion without accountability is insanity. Allowing someone addicted to fentanyl to deteriorate on a sidewalk is not humane merely because arrest was avoided. It is also entirely inhumane to everyone around them. Making housing construction nearly impossible does not help the poor merely because the regulations had noble intentions. Taxing productive residents more heavily does not strengthen a city if those residents eventually leave. Los Angeles remains beautiful, wealthy, creative, and full of good people. That is precisely why its problems are so frustrating. The city demonstrates how even enormous natural and economic advantages can be squandered when ideology repeatedly outranks order, affordability, personal responsibility, and competent administration. The lesson is not that every urban problem has one partisan cause. It is that policies must ultimately be judged by results, not intentions and Los Angeles gives critics of progressive governance plenty of results to point to.show more
