The entire stretch is completely broken, riddled with deep potholes, muddy patches, and craters big enough to swallow a scooter. For residents, office-goers, school buses and even ambulances, this has turned into a daily obstacle course rather than a public road. We keep hearing tall claims about “Brand Bengaluru” and the city’s transformation under the current leadership, yet basic infrastructure like roads continues to remain neglected for weeks at a time. Despite repeated complaints from citizens, no visible action has been taken to repair this stretch or even to provide a temporary fix to prevent further deterioration. It’s understandable that infrastructure projects take time, but leaving a key connecting road in this state for more than a months shows a serious gap between promises and ground reality. The entire stretch turned into what looked more like a swimming pool than one of the city’s busiest junctions. Even the newly constructed metro station area was completely waterlogged, raising serious concerns about Bengaluru’s infrastructure and drainage planning. Vehicles were struggling to move through the flooded roads while commuters were left stranded in traffic chaos. Despite massive development projects and ongoing metro construction, the city continues to face the same flooding issues every monsoon. The traffic situation in Bengaluru has reached a point... that is nothing short of insane. It seems almost as if traffic jams are being created humanly, simply due to ignorance and lack of traffic sense. One recurring problem is the behavior of the 500CA buses near Jeevika Hospital, where frequent U-turns disrupt the flow of traffic, causing unnecessary congestion on an already busy stretch. A practical solution would be to stop these buses from making U-turns at Jeevika Hospital and instead divert them via the service road onto the Marathahalli bridge, continuing towards Kunhalli. Such a small change in traffic management could significantly reduce jams, improve commuter experience, and make daily travel less stressful for thousands of motorists.
