A quick assessment of Ben Whittaker after last night:... 1. The kid is definitely talented and skilled. He has every tool a boxer needs. 2. The Andy Lee thing might not be the right fit. They always associate Andy Lee with the Kronk style, but you’ve never seen Ben unleash a double jab, right hand like Kronk fighter were known for. 3. He needs to find more power from somewhere. Better mechanics and better contact points would help. 4. He needs an inside game because at the top level, you need to break guys down, not just outbox them. 5. Based on yesterday, winning a British will be challenging in the current climate, but not impossible. 6. His never fight should be Zak Chelli. A natural rival and a guy that will test him the right way. 7. The Whittaker journey isn’t in choppy waters yet, but it could be in a fight or two. He needs to unleash his inner monster. The kid is gifted, but boxing needs more than that. 8. We really are living through a ‘lost generation’ of boxers.show more

My son’s one good kidney is failing. Please pray... for Caleb’s transplant surgery. As of this last appointment we are officially in the process of scheduling Caleb’s kidney transplant. This will be Caleb’s 6th surgery in his 3 years on this earth, and by far the most serious. He has some rather complicated complications that heighten the possibility of rejection among other issues. You can specifically be praying that his bladder (which has not been connected or functioning since his first major surgery) actually functions properly and doesn’t end up damaging his new kidney. My wife and I are consistently tempted to Fear and anxiety for our son’s future, but God has remained faithful in comforting us and giving us faith in his redemptive promises. If you want to help… Please pray for a successful surgery with no complications. Please pray that my wife and I increase in faith as we face these trials. Also pray that God continues to provide for our mounting financial needs related to Caleb‘s ongoing medical attention. If you want to help, please consider buying a “Kidney for Caleb T-shirt.” Our great hope is to sell 5k T-shirts. It’s a huge goal, but we serve a huge God who does incredible things!show more

I didn’t have high expectations for this season, but... I NEVER thought it would be this bad. Memphis just lost to Tulane (previously on a 5-game losing streak) at home. They are now 10-11. 5-4 in AAC play. Not to mention, the attendance is so bad that they’re moving everybody down to the lower bowl + giving out free tickets in the lower bowl to season ticket holders. There needs to be change this offseason.show more

Wen is the next Seeker Airdrop? 📱🪂 There's still... ~1,000,000,000 SKR sitting in the airdrop pool. And Seeker Season 2 still hasn't ended. Season 1 ran 4 months. Season 2 is at 8 months, with no end date announced. So what's actually left for future airdrops? → 3B SKR set aside for airdrops in total → Season 1 paid out 1.96B of it → Seeker Summer spent another 111M → Roughly 1B left for Season 2 & beyond That's about half of what Season 1 paid, spread across a bigger user base. So I don't expect 750,000 Sovereign drops again. What counts changed too. Solana Mobile nerfed farmed txs in August. So it's natural wallet use, dApp Store exploration, daily driver behaviour & staking that matter now. Timing is anyone's guess. Mine is January 2027, a year after Season 1 closed. Q4 or January - what's your bet? 👀show more

The front in the Zaporizhzhia direction is collapsing Russian... forces have broken through Ukrainian defenses in eastern Zaporizhzhia Oblast and advanced toward Huliaipole, according to OSINT channels. The DeepState project reports that a breakthrough near the Yanchur River allowed Russian troops to advance from the northeast, creating a threat of partial encirclement of the city. In recent weeks, Russian forces have captured dozens of square kilometers — including the villages of Sladke, Novoe, and Novonikolayevka — and begun fighting for Rovnopol, just 11 km from Huliaipole. Experts describe the situation as a “localized collapse of defenses.” Russian troops are advancing 4–5 km every few days, while Ukrainian forces struggle to fortify new positions. Military analysts warn that if this pace continues, the city could be encircled or captured within two weeks. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have confirmed difficulties in the area. Ukrainian troops withdrew from several positions near five settlements in the Huliaipole sector, said Southern Defense Forces spokesman Vladyslav Voloshyn. “We completely left Uspenivka and Novonikolayivka. Heavy fighting continues for Yablokove and three to four other locations. The defensive operation continues. The frontline remains very dynamic.” Huliaipole, once home to 13,000 people, remains a strategically important crossroads in eastern Ukraine.show more

I did not ask for this and that is... the whole point. Opened my laptop at 8. The brief was already sitting in Slack, timestamped 7:02. Everything that moved overnight, sorted by what it actually costs me to ignore. Three things flagged. Two of them I would have missed until Thursday. Nobody prompted it. No trigger, no "good morning summarise my inbox", no prompt to steal. That is the line between a tool and an employee. A tool waits for you to open it. This one had already done the reading. I still approve everything before it goes anywhere. He proposes, I decide. Viktorshow more
