I built a full-stack Chat App to learn React... Deeper. When I started, I only know the basics in React. I was hesitant at first if I would be able to do it or not, but I started building it anyways. Major major props to aroha for solving a major... limitation with Seedance 2.0. If you've tried uploading audio files directly, you know that Seedance 2.0 actually changes the lyrics and even the song itself BUT if you save out a blank video with the song and upload that video as a video omni reference it gives you perfect lipsync and no style drifting of the audio. I personally haven't notice style drift but it's 100% better than a straight audio upload which makes it unusable. This is actually MAJOR!!! Those music videos you've been wanting to generate with Seedance 2.0 are now solved. I tested this myself with some audio from Suno 5.5 which is the example you're watching right now and it works! I just wish Seedance 2.0 would actually fix the audio upload problem but this is an immediate fix. You don't need to type out the lyrics like I did. I think the best use case for using just an audio file is only if you want to keep a characters voice consistent.show more

last night I built a calorie tracking app, fully... automated whilst I was asleep... all of these commits you can see here were on autopilot. I first spent an hour creating a large spec list/plan, split into phases and individual tasks. Kept asking Opus 4.5 to see if there's anything it's unsure of. nailed down the architecture (Bun, Nativewind, MySQL, EffectTS, TanStack Query/Mutate, Barcode Scanner API, Nutrition API details), and the schema. then I built my own version of the Ralph Wiggum bot, which is basically a .md file with a list of commands the AI can use to track task status, latest context, and a loop to keep resetting the context window on task completion. when I woke up in the morning the app was fully working and all tasks were complete. there's also 479 tests across 17 files. I don't know how to feel. This is insane. It works.show more

When I was a kid, I was fascinated by... lenticular images. I really thought it was magic. Lenticular printing is not something you casually experiment with. It’s expensive. Industrial. Hard to access. So instead of buying it… I rebuilt it. Inside wabi I recreated the same optical behavior using webgl. Not just a transition between two frames, but a small system that reacts to angle like light bending through ridged plastic. It’s strange how something that felt like childhood magic can become something you build yourself. Maybe that’s what technology is supposed to do.show more
