They were full Windows programs disguised as backgrounds. Kaspersky just exposed it. - These "application wallpapers" are executables that run the second you load them - One posed as a game, launched normally, then dropped a DarkKomet backdoor in the background - Payloads ranged from account stealers to crypto miners to ransomware - Some had tens of thousands of downloads before anyone noticed Your desktop was never supposed to have admin access to your life.show more

Dear congressmen Max Lucks and Gökay Akbulut MdB, Whatever... would we do without you visiting El Salvador to tell the people whose lives never bothered you when they were murdered in the thousands that they and 92% of their fellow citizens are wrong to support their president. Surely your efforts are needed here and not in your country, which is sinking into crime, economic ruin, and geopolitical irrelevance. Then again, as a fellow German I understand how refreshing it is to be in a country where you can criticize the government without the police raiding your home next week. Maybe one day we’ll have that in Germany, too.show more

Instead, your focus is free to wander, to contemplate, and to soak in all the beauty that surrounds your vehicle. You see, the freedom of attention is one of the greatest gifts FSD can offer, outside of safety. Rather than seeing the road solely as a pathway lined with obstacles & dangers, you can appreciate it as a moving portrayal of your beautiful life, full of interesting details you'd otherwise would have missed. As your Tesla navigates the turns & adjusts to the speed of the road, you’re able to share quality time with loved ones, catch up & focus on an audiobook, or simply enjoy a rare moment of peace in a really busy day. In giving up control of the wheel & trusting the technology that is driving you, you gain control over how you spend your limited time, making each mile a measure of life's quality, instead of a measure of distance.show more

It is spectacularly easy to get shadowbanned on X... One wrong reply and your reputation can go up in flames Luckily there are a few steps you can take to reduce your odds of getting banned by 10x 🔶First step: Don't reply from notifications Notifications are a minefield because hidden, spammy replies are shown to you as normal replies It's never worth replying from here. You risk replying to low reputation accounts without even knowing it Just reply normally from the posts so you know what's marked as spam 🔶Second step: turn off sensitive content in your settings Engaging with sensitive content could hurt your reputation score Little do you know, but a ton of content that’s not actually sensitive, gets marked as sensitive Turn off sensitive content in your settings, then become shocked when you see how much innocent content is marked as sensitive (tutorial video below) 🔶Third Step: Check for following/follower ratio before hitting reply Easy check to take before every reply This is brought up in the code 100 different times as a reputation destroyer Make sure to hover over people’s name before replying and check for their ratio 60% followers to following is the ratio cut off point 🔶Fourth Step: Don’t feed the trolls There are 100+ labels for toxic behavior in the code Engaging with anyone with these labels hurts your reputation For some of these labels they can be applied just for “insults” Best not to engage with any trolls (also good for your mental health) 🔶Fifth Step: Get the blue checkmark The easiest step of them all It’s coded into the algo that if you have the blue checkmark you can’t be marked as spam Yes it costs money, but if you have any serious interest of growing on this platform, it’s a must have 🔶🔶🔶🔶🔶 I've said this before, but it absolutely stinks you have to take all these steps just to get some reach At times, it can be like walking in a minefield It doesn't exactly make a social media platform feel very 'social' I have high confidence Elon is working to fix this. He's mentioned it before. But in the meantime, take these steps and be careful. It's worth it if you care about being seen on this platform. I'm 100% confident brighter days are ahead. Let me know below if any of these tips helped and what other steps you take to avoid getting banned.show more

251024 GQ Korea Q&A with Kai Q: What is... the phone application that you use the most these days? 🐻 Rather than an application, what I do the most these days is beg others for their hotspot. My phone was shattered [T/N: When he dropped a dumbbell on it], so I had bought another one in a hurry in the USA. But when I got back to Korea, you have to register/activate it again, and I haven’t been able to do that yet. Life is not possible without wifi! 🚨The case against the gunman from the WHCD will... likely condemn the man to prison FOR LIFE. I wish we didn't have to support this SCUM with our tax money. "When you tie that to the fact that your target was the President of the United States, I mean, you are, as you pointed out before, looking at spending the REST OF YOUR LIFE in a very small place away from any windows." Should serve as a lesson to any other extremists. Granted the message needs to PREVENT people from becoming radicalized enough to carry out acts of heinous violence.show more
