What Will The International Community Say Now? When former... President Mohamed Farmaajo engineered parliament’s extension of his term in 2021, he argued that he had not personally extended his mandate — that parliament had given him the extension. Last night, Prez Hassan Sheikh Mohamud made a similar argument in the attached video, stating that parliament, through the constitutional changes he spearheaded, had given themselves — as well as him and his cabinet — an additional year in office. This is despite his earlier public position that his mandate was four years and that even if the constitution were amended to provide for five-year terms, such changes would not apply to him, parliament, or his cabinet, but only to the next government. She never married, yet she still considers herself Captain... Vikram Batra's widow. Inside every girl, there is a lover waiting to drown in love. People often label casual relationships as love, but few ever dive into its true depth. As painful as Dimple's story is to read, I also consider her remarkably blessed. If the West is your “enemy,” then what exactly are you doing representing a British constituency in the UK Parliament – which sits in the heart of the West, in London? You cannot call the very nation you serve an enemy while holding public office within it. 2. Do you genuinely feel safe living among these “enemies” in the UK? If you truly believe this country and its people are hostile, then standing for political office here contradicts your own statement. 3. Over time, he will achieve what he wants, and his narrative will harden people’s hearts, making the deception widely accepted. 👉🏼So the “strong delusion” would not simply be belief in aliens, but a deeper replacement of truth—where the rapture is denied, Jesus is rejected, Scripture is dismissed, and humanity is directed toward a new global spiritual system that fully opposes the message of the gospel. Right now, during the disclosure, two things will happen in the Church. 1️⃣ Some Christians will struggle. ‡ Brant – Fast, Expensive, and Worrying In a... recent 2yo MSW race at Santa Anita, Brant, a $3m OBS March sales purchase, made a winning debut for his high-profile connections. Sent off at odds of 4/5, he tracked the pace before taking command on the turn, and drew off to win by 5 1/4 lengths. He recorded a very fast raw time, and a 101 Beyer figure. His high auction price was due largely to his having breezed an eighth of a mile in :09 3/5 at OBS. In the wake of the bidding, Amr Zedan, who purchased the colt on the recommendation of his trainer, Bob Baffert, and bloodstock agent Donato Lanni, was quoted in TDN as saying: "These horses are difficult to come by. He ticked all the boxes. He was a very precocious Gun Runner with a great pedigree. And more importantly, if you have someone like Mr. [Bob] Baffert in your corner, that gives you the courage and the guts to just go after quality. And you'll know they are in the best hands to turn them into champions. This one is for the team: Donato and obviously Bob and his ability to turn them into champions. So if you have the great team, the great training, the rest is easy. Was he pricey? Yes. But quality dictates price. So I never hesitated.” The hyperbole, and boilerplate optimism, are understandable, as even owners with very deep pockets prefer not to dwell on their inevitably long lists of expensive failures. But Zedan and their team have also enjoyed a number of high-profile successes, including Taiba, another Gun Runner colt, which won the Santa Anita Derby and the Malibu, both Grade I, before being retired to stud. Lanni, who has signed for at least some of Zedan's other good horses, was quoted as saying: "This is what the boss [Baffert] wanted and what Amr wanted. Gun Runner is a tremendous stallion and he worked really good and galloped out good. He did everything you want one to do.” Again, boilerplate, and if one were to take the reactions of the owner and agent at face value, it would be easy to arrive at the conclusion that the horse had no faults. But that would be naïve. So, let's first take a look at Brant's pedigree. Gun Runner is a "top" sire, and well-capable of getting high-class runners. It's a bit too early to fully judge him as a source of durability, but excluding his current crop of 2yos, his runners are only averaging 10 career starts. That number will rise, but likely not enough to reach, let alone exceed the contemporary industry average of ~15. In other words, though he himself raced 19 times, and won his swan song (the Pegasus World Cup) at five, there is no evidence to suggest that he is likely to eventually prove to be a particular source of durability. Brant's dam, Tynan, raced 13 times, and he is her first registered foal. His second dam, Pappascat, has produced at least five foals to have raced, and while only one has reached 20 starts, four of the five raced at least 12 times, which by today's degraded standards, isn't so bad. The fact that the coat color inherited by Brant, and his dam, can be traced to a notably unsound influence, Unbridled's Song, may or may not be meaningful. But I wouldn't ignore it as a potentially worrying connection. Brant's dam-sire, Liam’s Map, was lightly raced himself, and both his sire (US) and dam have poor records in terms of durability. As a sire, he has thus far produced numbers similar to Gun Runner. So while Brant's first two dams promise more than many that I have come across in similar assessments, and his sire displayed durability on the track, his overall pedigree suggests average durability at best. And what about the word that Mr. Zedan used twice in the above quote – "quality"? Well, Curlin is a quality sire, but in terms of bottom-line production, it leaves a lot to be desired. That's not to say that there are no good runners to be found, in fact the closely related Pappacap, under Brant's second-dam, was a Gr. III winner, and twice Grade I placed. However, through Brant's first six dams at least, I believe there to be just a single Grade I winner, Al Qasr, a Champion stayer in Peru, which appears under his fourth-dam. That is not, by any reasonable definition, a strong bottom-line, although it is fair to say that Brant's first dam is unproven. *** What might be learned from Brant's debut race? Everyone can see that he ran fast, and was much the best of that field, but I would say that there were some nuanced aspects of his performance that were both interesting, and worrying. Those nuances relate to his action, as viewed both through the pan shot, and head-on. Watching the basic (pan) view, Brant appears to display some "knee action". It isn't extreme, but also isn't the type of action that ideally suits dirt runners, and I wouldn't say that the colt appears totally comfortable. Here's a brief, related post on knee action, for reference: Then, we have the (embedded) head-on view, in which Brant displays seriously distorted action in his near-fore (left front leg; right when viewed head-on). It's a fairly extreme example of what is called "winging", and for a number of reasons, does not bode well for durability. Such action is never desirable, and is typically related to certain foreleg conformation flaws, which may include an offset knee, and/or toeing in or out, etc. Note also that under typical American racing conditions (i.e. tightly turning, left-handed tracks), the left front leg is subjected to the greatest torque, which amplifies the potential for injury. It should go without saying that there are occasional anomalies, horses with poor action that remain sound despite such flaws. But they are the exceptions, and it is not uncommon to find abbreviated careers associated with such action. For further reference, here is a link to a closely related post that I wrote after a filly named Amor Fati broke her maiden in eye-catching style in February of 2024. She has made just one further start, and hasn't recorded a work over the past 15 months. What's interesting about Brant is that there are two separate issues relating to his action, and that the some obvious mitigating steps that could have been, or should be taken, in efforts to keep him sound, were not, and are unlikely to ever be taken. First, with regard to his knee action, keep in mind that it is a characteristic that is more typically associated with turf horses. And guess what? Brant's dam was a turf horse. His second-dam was also at her best on turf, and was Gr. II placed on that surface. Also, in some respects, he physically resembles that female line more than his sire. Of course no one who spends millions on a horse that breezed exceptionally fast at a 2yo sale would be thinking "turf", given that the commercial market, and stakes schedules greatly favor dirt runners. But at the same time, it would be a mistake to assume that a fast breeze at OBS necessarily indicates that a given horse will be best suited to dirt. I say that partly because the OBS track features an all-weather surface called "Safetrack", which is far from being identical to dirt racing surfaces. While countless horses have gone through those sales and excelled on dirt, it should never been taken for granted that it will be a preference. And to further flesh out the point, take a look at Brant's breeze video through this link (his pedigree page can also be seen): Despite being rushed to cover a furlong much faster than he ever will again, I would say that he looks smoother, and displays slightly less knee action than in his recent debut race. Why? Could it be, perhaps, because he would prove more comfortable on turf and/or synthetic tracks, than dirt surfaces? Given how he ran first out, this is purely an academic point, as there is virtually no chance that his connections would consider switching surfaces, unless his form on dirt were to deteriorate badly. The second, more important point, relates to Brant's distorted action. I can't find a head-on conformation photo of the colt, but would be very surprised if he does not display flaws in his near-fore. Even in the very unlikely event that the leg were to appear correct, such distorted action would have been on display at the sale, as well as in pre-training at Eddie Woods' farm. And it defies belief that experienced horsemen who were prepared to purchase an extremely expensive horse for an important client would not have covered that base. Which in turn begs two important questions. First, why recommend the purchase of a very expensive horse, no matter how fast, that has yet to race, and displays such distorted action? Secondly, why choose to give such a horse to a trainer whose style and history suggest that injury risk would likely be amplified, rather than mitigated? The answers to those questions help to illuminate why the breed-to-sell paradigm is so insidious. As long as breeders and stud farms are willing to overpay for stallion prospects, and turn blind eyes to conformation defects, distorted action, lack of durability, and modest female families, the connections of horses like Brant need only hope that they hold together long enough to win one or two big races, enabling them cash in. These are the number of career starts made by Zedan's previous best (and expensive) male runners: 9 Arabian Lion 6 Arabian Knight 9 Muth 10 Medina Spirit 11 Hejazi And as long as the AGSC (American Graded Stakes Committee) continues to enable the paradigm through its dishonest KY Derby "prep" Grade I designations, the ultimately damaging feedback loop will likely continue. The answer to the second question is closely entwined, and should be obvious. For all of his faults as a trainer, Baffert has long produced results in stakes races that lead to valuable stud careers, so owners who wish to play the breed-to-sell game consider him to be a logical choice. Of course Baffert and Zedan are hardly alone in supporting the dubious paradigm. But that a horse like Brant could bring millions at a sale, and be given to a trainer who trains very hard, and has compiled a very poor safety record, underscores the extreme degree to which the value of durability has been marginalized by the industry. Right after the October 7 terrorist attacks, anarchist and... hate groups in NYC went to work protesting and targeting Jewish houses of worship. I saw it happen repeatedly. One incident that stuck with me happened at Wall Street, where a memorial and museum had been set up for the victims of October 7. Anarchists protested directly at the entrance, yelling hateful slurs and anti-Israel hate speech. Family members of the victims trying to enter the memorial were cursed out and verbally abused. I visited the memorial myself and could smell the smoke inside and feel the attack. Another incident happened at Parkside East Synagogue, where anarchists stood at the gates yelling hateful slurs at Jewish worshippers as they entered. I was told an IAB investigation was launched into the handling of the protest, but nothing ever came out of it and eventually it went silent. Right after the Parkside East incident, former Mayor Eric Adams and a City Council member decided to push legislation to stop protesters from protesting directly in front of houses of worship, right as Adams was about to leave office. That CM claims to be a protector of the Jewish community, but in reality, it appears they sold the Jewish community out. The reality is they didn't need new legislation. All they needed was one phone call to the NYPD to push the protesters back and create a safe distance around houses of worship , but those calls were never made. Right after the legislation propaganda, Adams launched his memecoin, which he claimed would help fight antisemitism. The memecoin later crashed and investors lost their money and Jewish community was screwed again. There was also an incident in Crown Heights, in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, one of the most religiously significant Jewish holy places in New York City. Anarchists descended on the synagogue, yelling hateful slurs and attacking Jews. Thankfully, Jewish students fought back and pushed them away. I was then contacted by police sources who told me that someone in city hall allegedly ordered an investigation to find the Jewish students who pushed back and hold them accountable. Some in city hall told me that wasn't true, but people in high-ranking positions within the NYPD told me I was absolutely right and that two Jewish students were wanted. I repeatedly contacted Adams' team when anarchists protested in front of Jewish houses of worship begging them to do something I was ignored brushed off or giving some excuse. On one occasion , I was even told it was a federal issue lol But in reality a phone call could of pushed these anarchist group away from Jewish houses of worship. While I'll never agree with Mayor Zohran Mamdani's anti-Israel rhetoric, I believe he needs to stop. There are sick people who feed off this kind of rhetoric and act on it, as we've seen with recent attacks against the Jewish community. He has zero power over what happens in Israel, but his words can have consequences here in New York City. That being said, I will give credit where credit is due. After Mamdani took over and gave full authority to Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, anarchists were never able to get as close to Jewish houses of worship again. My family fought in the Six-Day War, and I still have family in the Israeli military, government, and intelligence. Police, Chandigarh DGP Chandigarh Police Subject: Request for intervention regarding FIR No. 44 dated 19-04-2026 registered by East Sector 26 Police Station, Chandigarh 1. I write this letter through X with the sincere hope that it reaches your attention. The present issue concerns FIR No. 44 dated 19-04-2026 registered by East Sector 26 Police Station, Chandigarh against Professor Madhu Kishwar Madhu Purnima Kishwar and a few others under Sections 66C, 66D and 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Sections 196, 318, 336(1), 336(3), 336(4), 340, 353 and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The FIR was registered on the complaint of one Satinder Singh, who alleged that a video clip was being circulated by various social media users with misleading claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was receiving a facial massage from a woman. According to the complaint, several social media accounts amplified this allegedly false narrative. As understood, the complainant further stated that his preliminary verification revealed that the video was originally posted by one Pardeep Kaur Dhillon through Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts on 12 April 2026, and that the person in the video was actually Jaspal Singh Sarai, who was apparently receiving a facial massage from a woman. However, even a plain reading of the complaint does not disclose the commission of any offence, much less a cognizable offence. Surprisingly, the police registered the FIR invoking an extraordinary range of provisions relating to identity theft, cheating, forgery, promoting enmity, defamation, public mischief, and even obscenity. 2. Let us briefly examine the applicability of each provision invoked in the FIR: (i) Section 66C of the Information Technology Act, 2000 criminalises fraudulent or dishonest use of another person’s electronic signature, password, or unique identification feature. The fundamental question is: whose identity has Professor Madhu Kishwar allegedly stolen? Was it the identity of Satinder Singh? If not, what is his locus standi in lodging such a complaint? If the allegation concerns some other person, has that person complained? In the absence of any such complaint, how is an offence under this section made out? (ii) Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000 relates to cheating by personation through a communication device or computer resource. Whom did Professor Madhu Kishwar allegedly impersonate? Who was deceived, and what wrongful gain or loss occurred? Did she impersonate Satinder Singh or any other person? If not, how does the complainant acquire locus standi under this provision? (iii) Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 criminalises publication or transmission of obscene material in electronic form. The complainant himself states that the video was originally posted by Pardeep Kaur Dhillon and depicted Jaspal Singh Sarai receiving a facial massage from a woman. The video, by any objective standard, contains no obscene or lascivious material. Neither individuals were nude, nor was any sexual act depicted. It was merely a professional facial massage. Professor Madhu Kishwar merely reposted the content on X. Therefore, the essential ingredients of Section 67 are entirely absent. (iv) Section 196 of BNS concerns promoting enmity between groups on grounds such as religion, race, language, place of birth, or residence, and acts prejudicial to communal harmony. How does reposting a video of a man receiving a facial massage — even assuming someone believed the man resembled Prime Minister Narendra Modi — amount to promoting enmity between groups or disturbing public harmony? The provision appears wholly inapplicable. (v) Section 318 of BNS deals with the offence of cheating. The essential ingredients of cheating require deception causing wrongful loss, delivery of property, or inducement to act or omit in a manner causing harm. How does reposting a social media video satisfy any of these ingredients? Even assuming, for the sake of argument, that Prime Minister Narendra Modi felt personally aggrieved, the complaint would have to come from him or an authorised representative. What is the locus standi of Satinder Singh or any unrelated third party in this matter? (vi) Sections 336(1), 336(2) and 336(3) of BNS These provisions deal with forgery involving false documents or electronic records. How does reposting a pre-existing video amount to creating a false document or forged electronic record? No document was fabricated. No electronic record was forged. Again, even assuming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the aggrieved person, why has no complaint been filed either by him or by any authorised representative? How does Satinder Singh acquire standing in such circumstances? (vii) Section 340 of BNS concerns fraudulent or dishonest use of a forged document or electronic record. When there is no forged document at all, the provision itself cannot apply. Further, the alleged victim has neither filed nor authorised any complaint. In such circumstances, invocation of Section 340 appears entirely untenable. (viii) Section 353 of BNS concerns statements or reports intended to incite mutiny, offences against the State, public disorder, or inter-community violence. How can reposting a video of a man receiving a facial massage — even if someone attributes resemblance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi — possibly amount to incitement of mutiny, public disorder, or offences against the State? The invocation of this section is wholly unsustainable. (ix) Section 356 of BNS concerns defamation. However, Section 222 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 clearly provides that defamation can be prosecuted only by the aggrieved person. If the aggrieved person is a public servant, proceedings can be initiated only by a Public Prosecutor with prior sanction of the Central or State Government as the case may be. Neither Satinder Singh nor any unrelated individual has the legal standing to initiate such proceedings. 3. Dr. Hooda Ji, permit me to share a version of a well-known satirical anecdote about policing, which bears a striking resemblance to the present case, where Professor Madhu Kishwar is being compelled to endure the ordeal of criminal prosecution despite the absence of the essential ingredients of the offences invoked against her. A man sees an old friend running down the street — terrified, panting, and sweating. He stops him and asks, “What is wrong? Why are you running?” The friend replies, “The police are arresting all bulls!” The man says, “But you are not a bull. Why are you running?” The friend shouts back, “We both know I am not a bull. But by the time I prove it to the police and the courts, I will have spent the rest of my life in jail!” Terrified by hearing this, the other man also starts running. 4. Dr. Hooda Ji, I have heard that you are a competent, upright and distinguished officer. It is the solemn responsibility of senior officers of the IPS to prevent abuse of the criminal justice process and to ensure that policing does not degenerate into a spectacle in which criminal law is stretched beyond recognition to harass individuals for expressing views that may inconvenience those in power. 5. I therefore request your kind intervention to prevent the continued harassment and persecution of Professor Madhu Kishwar for her views on public issues, and to direct immediate closure of the case. 6. 🧵 Israel strikes its rebellious puppet in Syria -... dark days ahead Jolani’s Delusion: The Man Who Sold Syria to Israel for Nothing July 9th. The US and 19 allies are conducting a live military drill near Australia with a view of a coordinated attack against China our — but forget that for now. Something bigger exploded this morning (July 16th 2025). Israel launched a decapitation strike against Syria’s de facto ruler, Jolani. Yes — that Jolani, the man who had bent over backwards to please Israel, the one who handed over the Golan Heights with a smile, promising “permanent peace.” And yet? They still came for him. Let’s rewind. When Assad’s regime collapsed back in December 2024, the whole of Syria fell into chaos. Jolani, a former terrorist with deep roots in al-Qaeda and Issis, seized Damascus within a week. But taking the capital didn’t mean owning the country. Syria became a jungle of warlords. In the southwest, Israel moved fast. Armored brigades swept in and annexed the eastern Golan Heights, calling it a “buffer zone” — as if the whole world hadn’t seen this playbook before. To understand why Israel will never let go of the Golan Heights, you have to understand what the Golan is. It is not just a piece of land. It is a perch, a watchtower, a faucet, a promise. From those heights, you can see half of Syria. Before 1967, Syrian artillery rained down on Israeli farms from that high ground. After 1967, Israeli tanks dug in and never left. And why would they? The Golan is water. It feeds the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan River, and the underground aquifers that keep Israel alive. Some say nearly half of Israel’s fresh water still trickles down from those slopes. In a region where rain is rare and rivers dry, that makes the Golan as precious as oil. But there’s something deeper still. The Golan is theology. The Golan is destiny. For the religious wing of Likud, for those who still read maps with the Book of Genesis in one hand, the Golan is part of the inheritance God gave Abraham — “from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.” This land was promised. And what is promised cannot be returned. Not to Assad. Not to Jolani. Not to anyone. So now that Syria lies broken, now that Jolani begs and grovels, now that the widow has no protector — Israel sees its chance. And it will not look away. By January 205, Jolani tried to claw some legitimacy back. He had personal reasons — he was born in the Golan Heights — but also national ones. A president who gives up sovereign territory and says nothing? That’s not a leader. So he went to the UN. Israel scoffed. He proposed a “land-for-legitimacy” deal — asking to get back a third of the Golan Heights, lease another third, and in return recognize Israeli sovereignty over the rest. A humiliating offer for Syria — and Israel still slapped him across the face. “How dare you propose such a deal? You? You’re nothing. All of Golan Heights is ours. Try take it back if you can. To hell with UN and international law” The same man who had once survived the Abu Ghraib black prison walked out of that hell with a bruised face — and a boiling mind. But he is eerily tame in front of the Israelis. Not characteristic of a brutal terrorist. By March, Jolani pivoted. If Israel wouldn’t listen, maybe Turkey would. Jolani made his pitch with eloquent urgency — the kind of urgency a man uses when he knows the fire is already at his doorstep. “Syria,” he told the Turks, “isn’t just a country. It’s a buffer. Between you and Israel. And once we’re gone, the buffer is gone. Then it’s just you and them, staring across a line drawn in sand.” He leaned in. “You think Israel won’t come for you? Maybe not today. But one day, they will. And your pipelines, your ports, your Black Sea dreams — all of it will be within range.”show more

Dear Mr. President, Thank you for writing against the... terrible, barbaric act of torture again, as you did in 2017 when many people were being tortured at the infamous Nalufenya detention center. Just in case you didn’t know, let me join many other Ugandans to bring it to your attention that so many more people have been tortured since then. I will list some of them but let me start with Sam Mugumya who was disappeared by security operatives a year ago and has never been released or charged in any court of law even when the courts ordered the state to investigate this matter. I also interviewed his 83 year old mother Ednansi Katungwesi who appealed to you to intervene and ensure that her son is taken to prison where she can visit him and ascertain that he is alive, if he committed any crime. Recently, a video of him surfaced and he has been visibly subjected to torture and inhumane treatment. He was tortured even worse than Nuwagaba (I say that because I interviewed Nuwagaba in 2024) and if Mugumya isn’t released to get the same treatment you offered to Nuwagaba, I am afraid he won’t survive. Many other Ugandans have been abducted and disappeared and held incommunicado and tortured. The reason suspects are not arrested in accordance with the law and held in gazetted detention is to torture them. Some of those that have been lucky to make it out have told this harrowing tales. Some haven’t been lucky because they have not been seen again for 7,6,5 years. As we speak, countless Ugandans are still held incommunicado including two very young people Christopher Gody (King Zale) and 18 year old William Baliza. Then there are others whose torture hasn’t even been hidden. Your son the CDF, has publicized it, e.g Eddie Mutwe, Erias Lukwago, etc. Just in case these had not been brought to your attention, I and many other Ugandans are bringing them to your attention. Otherwise Ugandans may think you only care about the torture of Nuwagaba who comes from Kiruhura where you also come from and not the plight of so many other parents like the 83 year old mother of Sam Mugumya and of these many other Ugandans that have been tortured. ALERT: Another Media hoax Trump: "Our whole country will... end up being like Detroit if she's (Harris) your president." The local press and politician are going berserk here in Michigan. The Outrage! (Watch the Harris commercial during the Lions/Cowboys game today.) Except it's fake. A 6 second clip was ripped from 7,380 seconds of Trump's speech delivered to the Detroit Economic Club last week, and disseminated by a bumptious blowhard who thinks his colonoscopy is worthy of a tweet. But look closer (or watch below). As has become custom with the increasingly irrelevant media, Trump's statement was taken wildly out of context. Trump spoke at great length and quite clearly about how the auto industry thrived here until politicians, greedy corporate leaders, their lobbyists and the gullible media pushed for terrible trade deals that have allowed foreign nations to come in and take our markets, jobs and factories. Trump rattled off tariffs on US products in other countries. He rightly said this was happening not only with cars but with other American products with no reciprocal pushback from US political and business leaders. He railed against neo-liberal/neo-con globalists who are destroying our country's manufacturing base and gutting our cities. That, if we let them keep going, America ad a whole will suffer as Detroit has. That was his point. About an hour into his speech, Trump said if you elect Harris, you'll get more of the same: "Our whole country will end up being like Detroit if she's your president." The media ripped this 6 seconds and presented it in isolation. Misleading snippets. Ugly stuff. A true threat to democracy. What the press does not report: On Monday, before Trump's speech, ~2,500 Chrysler workers in Warren, Michigan were shown the door by their corporate masters, now headquartered in Europe. On Friday, after Trump's speech, ~2,000 Detroit Jeep workers we're put on extended "temporary" layoff. The press plays political games. And the corrupt politicians take them to lunch. They're running a hustle on us. I have attached the mayor of Detroit's tantrum tweet. Let's fact check him: + Detroit's crime data is heavily massaged to put it generously. Nevertheless, the Motor City remains rated as America's second most dangerous city. + Detroit's population would continue to be sinking if it weren't for the influx of illegal immigrants. + Detroit's tax revenues, when adjusted for inflation, are less than they were during the year of its historic bankruptcy. + Meanwhile, property taxes remain the highest of any major American city, and the schools among the worst. “A lie unchecked becomes the truth.” Where have we... heard that before? If Hank Brennan’s inflammatory claims about the defense & the ARCCA experts were true and accurate, why were NONE of those issues raised or even mentioned in his Motion to Exclude ARCCA Experts, or any court documents whatsoever? He stated that he received that information on February 13, 2025, nearly a week before Tuesday’s motions hearing, but you’re telling me that this guy wasn’t chomping at the bit to put ANY of this in a motion? Sure—and I’ve got a bridge to sell you. Why did Brennan file no affidavit of factual support, pursuant to Rule 13(a)(2) outlining any of these damning claims? Maybe because then he’d be bound under the pains & penalties of perjury which would make it much harder for him to hide behind “I misspoke” when his lies are confronted by the truth. Furthermore, if Brennan’s oh so damning claims of impropriety were true, then surely he would’ve included them in his Motion for Sanctions on the Defense, right? Especially given the fact that he filed his sanctions motion with the court (on 2/14/25) AFTER he’d already received said damning information (on 2/13/25), and from the defense themselves no less 😂. Certainly, if Brennan’s claims were true, and not him trying to distract & obfuscate from the mountain of Brady violations the prosecution is drowning in by playing to “the audience on the right,” there’s absolutely no chance he’d leave that information out of his Motion for Sanctions, but yet it is nowhere to be found. Why’s that? This was a blatant PR stunt by Hank Brennan & the DA’s Office to smear the integrity of the defense attorneys while planting the seed that ARCCA is not a neutral party. And guess what? They got what they wanted. Judge Beverly Cannone yet again revealed her bias and partiality—eating up every morsel of Hank Brennan’s unsubstantiated say-so, which is curiously outlined in NO court documents whatsoever by the Commonwealth. She piped up the theatrics without asking any questions or allowing the defense to respond or be heard. There are rules of criminal procedure for a reason and prosecutors have ethical obligations. Hank Brennan has repeatedly failed to abide by MA Rules of Criminal Procedure, specifically Rule 13(a)(2), obligating him to file an affidavit of factual support, which in part exists to keep attorneys honest & hold them accountable to the truth. This, of course, is why he rarely files them. On a side note: speaking of affidavits, you know who’s never submitted any affidavits, signed & sworn to under the pains and penalties of perjury? Jessica Hyde and Ian Whiffin. On the contrary, Richard Green has submitted at least 4 affidavits. The entire objective of Brennan’s PR stunt on Tuesday was to taint the jury pool by trying to make the defense attorneys look as sleazy as him so that any potential jurors will be less inclined to believe what the defense says, and attack the integrity of the ARCCA experts because he can’t meet them on the facts & they destroy his case. And much of the local + mainstream news media bought it hook, line & sinker. Nearly every headline is running with Brennan’s unverified word salad. It’s in the press & news media, and potential jurors have seen it. The damage is done, and because Judge Cannone was seemingly complicit in this charade of theatrics, she allowed Brennan’s lie to go unchecked. She’s seen no affidavit from him signed under the pains & penalties of perjury showing factual support of anything he said on Tuesday. So why is she so inclined to believe him? With a Judge so eager to indict Attorney Alan Jackson, Karen Read & her defense team for seemingly inexplicable personal reasons, based on nothing more than a hyperbolic emotional argument—which as it turns out was later revealed to be entirely false & inaccurate during that same hearing—and based on no real argument elaborated anywhere in any court documents by the Commonwealth, Judge Cannone confirmed once again that she lacks judicial temperament & is unfit to be presiding over this case. Judge Cannone is supposed to protect Karen Read’s right to a fair trial. Instead, she’s ensuring that Karen Read will never get a fair trial. Do you think any media outlets are going to issue retractions when Alan Jackson/defense counsel is absolved? Of course not! And by that point, the damage has already been done. Judge Cannone left the casual observer + news audience with a very prejudicial impression of the defense, seeking no follow up and affording no due process for the defense to be heard. A lie unchecked becomes the truth, and Judge Cannone knew that allowing Hank Brennan’s lie to go unchecked for a week would be extremely damaging to the defense in the lead up to trial. Why is she so apt to believe that defense counsel is somehow nefarious or dishonest when 3,000+ pages of Touhy evidence provided by the ongoing federal investigation—into THIS DA’s Office and THESE third party culprits—exposed an overwhelming number of the Commonwealth’s lies and verified that this is factually a malicious prosecution? Touhy evidence that only verified and corroborated the veracity of the defense and its case. ———— But, don’t take my word for it. Look at Hank Brennan’s own words in his Motion to Exclude ARCCA Experts and his Motion for Sanctions (attached below in comments). Let me know where, if anywhere, you find any of these damning claims (hint: you won’t). Look at the docket of all recent filings (attached) and let me know where, if anywhere, you see any affidavit of factual support for Brennan’s ARCCA expert exclusion argument that he made Tuesday (hint: you won’t). And it’s not due to lack of time, as he had nearly a week to file any of this information in a court document. Yet, he chose not to do that. What does that tell you?
