These 2 key throwing drills focus on body control... and following throws. Many players from youth through HS don’t have good body control to transition from an athletic move (play) into an accurate throw. They also don’t follow their throws. ** Instead they cut themselves off and lose all momentum and direction to target. Following a throw improves “carry” or the ability of a baseball to travel further with the same effort put into the throw. It also reduces stress on the arm. Lastly, when a player follows their throw correctly, it improves accuracy. ** Notice player 1 (LHP/1B) cuts off his follow just a bit compared to player two (C). Key: The faster you sprint into the throw, the more the follow will begin to happen naturally. Both players shown played in college after graduation and both had very strong college careers. These drills, as well as many others, should be done regularly to help players become elite throwers and significantly improve game success. The Pirates haven’t won a Paul Skenes start in... over a month and are currently trailing the Marlins 2-1… Skenes has seen a dip in his fastball velocity this season and nobody in Pittsburgh seems to notice he’s holding the baseball with a different set of muscles this year…. Here he is last June holding the baseball with his interossei muscles (left video) compared to his flexor digitorum superficialis today (right video)…. Rytas fell to Zalgiris 2–3 in the LKL Finals,... but the team and coaching staff deserve a ton of credit. Over the past 4 years, Rytas has won two LKL titles and lost two Finals to Zalgiris in Game 5 thrillers—both slipping away in the final two minutes. Hats off to head coach Giedrius Zibenas and assistant Georgios Dedas, who took over during one of the club’s lowest points and guided it back into the title picture, despite operating with a budget nearly three times smaller than Zalgiris. When your 6’4” 210 last year as an 8th grader, his a ability to get open and his sticky hands, you can only imagine why we chose Bosco, his cousin is Koa the top QB in the country and the development, no one does it better than my Coach Negro. I want Kuika Moa’ali’i to experience what it is to win a CIF STATE & NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. My kids DJ and Matayo all together have 4 CIF and STATE Titles and 3 NATIONAL Titles. Matayo’s ROSE 🌹 BOWL was the best location, but DJ’s come back from 28-5 to MD and win 39-34 now that’s the best high school game ever!!!show more

The portal is definitely not for the weak. To... the multitude of programs that reached out in any form, and the dozen or so that were willing to offer me a spot on their program. Whether they were Juco d3,d2, d1, naia, fcs or fbs. Each one was and is a blessing. Multiple conversations were had and many times the same topic came up. The amount of film and game experience I had or lack of it. I started contemplating on the best route to address that and after praying continuously I have chosen to bounce back to Juco, but not just any Juco. One that had always treated me in the best way and truly wants to help me achieve every goal I set. 🇩🇪 Germany had another shocking World Cup and fully... deserved to lose to Paraguay tonight. It's sad to see the decline of the German national team. Their World Cup winning side that demolished Brazil 7-1 in 2014 was the culmination of a long national project to establish German dominance, and that team was the peak expression of German martial virtues in a sporting context. Since then their decline has mirrored German national decline. Many former players have complained about the team losing "Kampfgeist," which was the resilience, collective will and fighting spirit that made so many German teams triumph over more individually talented opposition. Obviously, the subtext of this is that much of the team are no longer ethnically German. Before the 2018 World Cup, in which Germany didn't even get out of their group as defending champions, Turks Mesut Özil and İlkay Gündoğan met Erdoğan in London. Özil responded to criticism by retiring from international football and accusing Germany of being racist to him. In 2022, where they again went out in the group stage, they partook in the humiliating show of covering their mouths to protest the Qataris banning them from wearing gay "One Love" armbands to defend the only thing allowed to pass for "German values." The side that lost tonight lacked everything that made German football great. Was happy to get my first look at SS... Rock Arnold (OSU Cowboy Baseball) down in Jupiter. Went 1-for-2 in the game I saw him and hammered a backside RBI triple. Recently re-classed into the C/O 2026. Listed at 6'1" and 190-lbs, Arnold has a lean, athletic frame with some length in his lower-half and present strength. Stands fairly tall in the box, small leg lift gives way to a normal stride. Hands will drift and drop a bit in his load that includes a barrel tip. Present bat and hand speed, slightly uphill swing path that's geared towards lifting the baseball. There's a degree of adjustability in Arnold's swing, and he's shown the ability to drop his back knee to help create leverage. Some swing and miss, particularly against secondaries, but Arnold's swing decisions were sound and he stayed within the strike zone in my look. Has shown he can impact the baseball—especially to the pull side. Arnold's athleticism is evident both in the box and on the dirt. Flashed an above-average arm on the left side of the infield with solid carry across the diamond. Didn't display the quickest first step on the play I saw him attempt to make, though he showed comfortability attacking the baseball. Figures to get the chance to stick at shortstop. When bucketing these players out, Arnold fits into a handful of them: He's an athletic, lefthanded hitting SS with present power and potentially more on the way. Definite name to follow closely this spring in the Northeast.show more
