#100daysofpractice Season 7, days 72-79 is now up over on Instagram. Here’s a highlight: 77: travel day. Practiced backstage before a conductor workshop - a collaborative idea I’ve had for ages but the first time it’s happened. Thanks, Chicago Symphony Orchestra!

#100daysofpractice Season 6, day 44. Did a lot of cross training today, listening to Bach organ fugues and thinking about form. I kept practice low exertion, but I experimented with the concepts of holding space, sarabande, and structure vs freedom (notes made up in the moment).
