#AEROHISTORY: April 20th 1993, Aerosmith released their 11th studio album ‘Get a Grip’. The album sold 7 million copies by 1995 and over 20 million to date. ‘Get a Grip’ also won the band 2 Grammy Awards, topped the Billboard 200, and produced seven singles. The album spurred the Get A Grip Tour, which lasted a year and a half and included over 200 shows!

Happy 40th to ‘Done with Mirrors’ 🪞 #AeroHistory: November 4, 1985, Aerosmith releases their eighth studio album, 'Done With Mirrors'. The release marked the return of Joe Perry, who had left the band in 1979, and Brad Whitford, who had left in 1981. In keeping with the title, all the text on the original releases of the album was written back-to-front and could be read when held up to a mirror. Critically, 'Permanent Vacation' is often looked at as the beginning of their comeback, but 'Done With Mirrors' plays a pivotal role in the Aerosmith story.
