#AshokSelvan at #AnbilAvan Thanks Meet: "Is this film a perfect one? Definitely not. It has its flaws. But I believe the heart and soul of the film are in the right place. My previous films, Kootathil Oruthan and Nitham Oru Vaanam, also received mixed reviews from critics initially, but those films were discussed a lot. Thanks to everyone who came to the theatres. This film will get a bigger reception after its OTT release. I received many messages for my previous films saying, “Missed it in theatres.” Please watch this one in theatres while it’s still running.."

#AshokSelvan: "It's been 2.5Yrs my last film #BlueStar got released. Many asked me why my films are not coming, i don't want to put attendance on random Friday and release my film🤞. #AnbilAvan is the First story VigneshRaja has written. I say with full confidence, that a film like this haven't come in recent times. It's not a new story, but screenplay will be unique🔥"

Q: In #AnbilAvan, you are also one of the writers. Was the story written by #VigneshRaja ? #AshokSelvan: - VigneshRaja wrote the story and screenplay, and he was supposed to direct the film before #Kara. Later, he got the opportunity to make Kara. - He also wanted to make Kara, and I said, No problem. Then, we took the story and made it more emotional, while also creating new characters for the film.

#AshokSelvan's Speech at #AnbilAvan Event🤝: “From this movie, I’d like to make a statement. From now on, if my name is on a film’s poster, that means I’ve put in 100% effort. Whether the film is good or not, my promise is that I’ll always give it my 100%. This film is like a beginning for me.. can call it a reinvention or rediscovery. It’s that special to me.."
