During the re-launch of ActionSA’s #AReSebetseng Campaign in Alexandra, we had the privilege of meeting inspiring South Africans running the Gcwali SA Spaza Shop. The spaza shop offers goods based on what customers can afford to pay, rather than charging fixed prices. This innovative approach helps make essential food items more accessible for citizens in impoverished communities. Such Initiatives embody the spirit of being proudly South African: communities coming together, showing compassion, and finding practical ways to support one another. We hope to see the same concept replicated in Tshwane. #Spazas4Locals

Today, I’ve joined ActionSA Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate, Mr Herman Mashaba in Alexandra for the relaunch of the A Re Sebetseng Campaign. #AReSebetseng is a service delivery initiative first introduced by Mr Mashaba during his tenure as Mayor of Johannesburg. The campaign reflects ActionSA's commitment to working with communities to restore service delivery, improve public spaces and build cities that residents can be proud of.
