Did you know that #GameAudio ambiences in #AvatarFrontiersofPandora are made of thousands of emitters? Anything from birds, insects, amphibians, foliages and canopy leaves rustling in the wind, etc. are fully positioned to provide a sense of believability, accuracy and depth in the mix! If you want to know more about it, and learn how we connected it all together, from the game world’s state moment-to-moment, to the players’ actions - like shooting a gun scaring the ambient fauna away - then come meet David Osternacher and myself, and join our talk at #GDC2024 “Everything is Connected: Ambient Sound in 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora'”
