The woman showed her Aadhaar card in her phone which did not have Karnataka residential address so the conductor asked her to buy ticket. The woman claimed that she is a Central Govt. Employee working in Karnataka and her local Residential address on her central Govt ID card is that of Karnataka. But this did not help her. We are not sure but seems the free bus travel for women under Shakti scheme in Karnataka is only for those who are having local Aadhar Cards or Voter ID.
