Werner Herzog (#botd) visited the set of The Shining (1980) while Stanley Kubrick was shooting Danny’s famous tricycle scene. Kubrick worried that the sound of the wheels going from hardwood to carpet, over and over again, felt wrong and out of rhythm. However, Herzog loved it and he convinced Kubrick to keep it.
