At the first check post in Islamabad, a Honda Reborn with number ALZ-222 was being checked by a police officer. The driver suddenly accelerated and fled while the officer was still hanging from the left door. While fleeing at high speed, he first hit a Honda City car and then hit a motorcyclist, who fell on the road. Due to the extreme overspeeding, the police officer also fell from the car. He tried to chase & stop him. He took a U-turn & on the U-turn, he again hit another biker with extreme speed. That biker fell and came directly in front of my own car. To save him from coming under my car, I had to apply emergency brakes, and due to this, the driver of ALZ-222 managed to escape. Police officer showed bravery and managed to sit in the front seat of the vehicle, but the accused did not stop the vehicle and continued to try to escape. The fleeing vehicle hit three motorcycles in the Apara area. The injured officer was immediately shifted to the Polyclinic Hospital, while the accused managed to escape along with the vehicle.
