The convergence of Assam’s demographic potential and the global demand for skilled labour talent presents us one of the greatest opportunities. Backed by India’s strong partnership with the international community, we are pursing our flagship initiative #CMFLIGHT. This programs equips our youth with foreign language skills enabling them to pursue rewarding careers across the world with confidence and dignity. We have begun with 50+ students learning Japanese and the programme has garnered an excellent response. In the next phase we aim to expand the program to include Korean, German and other languages. Glimpses from my interaction with the mentees of the 1st batch of CM-FLIGHT. It was truly satisfying for me to see how this program is helping their aspirations find a place on the global arena.
