#CountryDuty #MadlangaCommission BREAKING NEWS: Chair rules that: 1. Hearing of #SulimanCarrim is postponed to 14 August 2026 wherein he will be required to testify and appear in person. 2. Carrim will be excused from testifying if: 2.1 He has subjected himself to a medical evaluation by a medical specialist agreed to by no later than Monday, 3 August 2026 between Carrim’s Legal Reps and Commission’s evidence leaders; and 2.2 Such medical professional has provided a medical report by no later than 12 August 2026 to the Commission and reasons. 3. Failing the Agreement, Independent Evaluation will be performed on Carrim. 4. Reasons for the ruling will be issued at a later stage

NPA says it knows it has strong evidence against him. Matlala will be then be co-joined in the main matter in September 2026
