#dolphins
The #Dolphins traded up to No. 3 in the 2013 NFL Draft, and **everyone** thought they were taking Lane Johnson. Miami selected Dion Jordan instead. Johnson fell to the #Eagles at No. 4. A crazy draft moment—and today, Johnson retires after a decorated 14-year career, all in Philly.

This is awful: A video was revealed that a 53-year old #Patriots fan hit his head after getting punched by a #Dolphins fan on Sunday Night's game. The fan, Dale Mooney, lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, where he passed. This is a tragedy, hopefully these fights between NFL fans stop because it can lead to the worst of of things. May he rest in peace 💔🙏 More on this here: (h/t NBC 10 WJAR)

Tragedy: #Patriots fan Dale Moony was brutally beaten to death by a #Dolphins fan Sunday night during the game right next to his son💔 Most of the fans surrounding them took out their phones and started videoing, not attempting at all to break up the fight. Dale was a 30-year #Patriots season ticket holder and the father of 2 sons, “My husband was the most generous caring person,” “Great dad. Great husband,” his wife Lisa said about him. There is NO sports game more important then someone’s life. Heartbreaking. (🎥NBC 10 WJAR)

This is a good life lesson from #Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel. He says he will not pre-judge a player (in this case Chase Claypool) based on things he's heard, but instead he'll base it on his own interactions. "I’m going to give you the opportunity to define who you are in the most honest, organic, real way possible and that’s open-mind, clean-slate, and let’s go." He also playfully added to the media about Claypool: "You guys want me to say it, don’t you? He’s fast. It’s cool." 😄 (h/t @BarroomNetwork, King of Phinland🐬👑)

#Dolphins HC Jeff Hafley said he met “Steve” — LB Stephen Dix Jr. — on Saturday morning, then had him play the entire second half and call the defense. Miami only used 2 defensive play calls as a result. “The guy literally showed up this morning. Didn’t know his team. And was giving calls in the huddle. That is a story.”

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Tyreek Hill says he never wanted to leave the #Chiefs and his agent was trying to “bait” the Chiefs into giving him a contract, he told Brandon Marshall. The Chiefs offered Hill $58M in guarantees, which led him to request his trade. The #Dolphins offered him $70M, while the #Jets were offering $76M. Hill’s mom reminded him of the state taxes and that Tyreek Hill’s “dream” was in Miami. Hill mentioned being a Zach Wilson fan. (Shoutout To: uSTADIUM for finding!)
