Every tree we plant, every ecosystem we restore, and every sustainable choice we make strengthens our collective future. Let us work together to build a greener, cleaner and more resilient India for generations to come. #NowForClimate

On this #EnvironmentDay, here’s the inspiring story of the grit and devotion of a nature warrior, Sunda Ram Verma from Sikar, who achieved what many would call impossible. He turned Rajasthan’s arid lands into a canvas of green, using just one litre of water per plant! By pioneering an innovation that allows a plant to thrive on minimal water, he breathed life into thousands of trees in the dry soil of Rajasthan. Word reached Gujarat, where the then Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, saw in Sunda Ram’s work a plan for transformation. A call came — not just as appreciation, but of purpose. Sunda Ram was invited by Modi to help sow the same seeds of transformation in Gujarat. Years later, his tireless service was honoured with the People’s Padma. For 25 years, he had planted 50,000 trees. But after this recognition, with renewed spirit, he planted another 50,000 — in just two years. This is not just the tale of one man’s devotion — it is a reflection of Viksit Bharat, where even a small impact, ignited by the leadership of PM Modi, can yield unimaginable results. #MODISTORYIMPACT
