Performers must execute long-distance leaps across these dense poles. Aerial Suspension: In traditional "Cai Qing" (plucking the greens), performers often dangle from high structures using one hand or feet. The gripping and balancing techniques are identical to what they are practicing. 2️⃣ Extreme Upper-body & Core Explosive Strength Lion Head Control: The front performer requires tremendous grip and core stability to lift and manipulate the heavy lion head while suspended mid-air. Partner Stunts: Moving from a one-handed side extension balance to a standard high-pole double-lifting pose requires absolute elite-level acrobatic core control and strength from both partners! 3️⃣ Aerial Awareness & Coordination Lion dance requires a true unity to express emotions mid-air.
