Day 2 of our #fitseptember challenge. Well done to all those that have already done Day 2 of 40 press-ups or other exercises. Today, I did 4 sets of 10, just for variation and also to manage the pain from Day 1. 😅. We go again tomorrow and everyday in September. ✌🏽

Day 30 of 30 of our #fitseptember challenge. We have fought a good fight, we have finished the race, we have kept the faith! 1,200 press-ups is not beans. There have been distractions, doubters, ill health, days where we didn’t want to get out of bed and days we didn’t know how we would survive it. But we didn’t give up. We kept going until victory. I thank everyone what has walked this journey with me. I hope that they have found it rewarding not just physically but also in the challenge’s ability to build resilience, perseverance and staying power. Saint Paul said when he had finished the race that there is a crown of righteousness in store for him. I don’t have a crown of righteousness for those that finished this race with me but I can send a little airtime to each of the 45 people that I know walked the entire journey with me, to say THANK YOU! 🙏🏾

Day 12 of our #fitseptember challenge was meant to be an easier 10+10+10+10=40 but I actually found it harder to break it into 10s than to just keep going to 20 or 30. I find that quite interesting. I’ll try it more often to see if it remains the same or I just struggled today.

Day 18 of our #fitseptember challenge saw me using press-ups equipment for a change. It was a little harder this first time. I struggled to do 15+10+10+5 to get my 40. I’ll get used to it though. They say the equipment targets deeper muscles.😅
