#JagadguruShankaracharya, who arrived on Thursday morning via a chartered flight at Donyi Polo Airport in Hollongi as part of the #GauDhwajSthapanaBharatYatra was turned back from the airport. Members of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union protested outside the airport in opposition to his visit. The Papum Pare district administration spoke with the Jagadguru and his entourage, convincing them to return due to the sensitive nature of his visit. The Jagadguru is traveling to various parts of the northeastern states to seek a ban on cow slaughter.
