Extended Range Guided MLRS adds a higher-energy, slightly larger-diameter motor and other refinements to the baseline 70+ km #GMLRS, enabling tail-controlled flight beyond 150 km while retaining six rounds per MFOM pod and space for future seekers against moving ground /maritime, or radiating targets. The shift from 70+ to ~150 km significantly expands fires coverage and standoff, lowering HIMARS/M270 vulnerability to counter-battery and ISR.
