#IMCTC launched in Malé, capital of the Republic of #Maldives a training program for Dawa personnel as part of “Moderation” Initiative titled; “Capacity building for Imams and Preachers”, in the presence of Maldives’ Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and IMCTC Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi. Several senior government officials and accredited ambassadors to the Republic of Maldives attended the launch ceremony. The training program is part of IMCTC’s strategic initiatives aimed at deepening the moderate discourse and countering extremist ideology.

#IMCTC concluded a training course today titled 'Dangers of Terrorist Financing, Money Laundering, and Countering Measures' in Mauritania's capital, #Nouakchott. The course covered the latest international standards and techniques for countering #terrorist financing and money laundering. Participants emphasized the importance of the knowledge and expertise gained, noting that it will contribute to improving professional performance and implementing effective measures to address these challenges.This course is part of the Sahel Countries Program launched by IMCTC earlier this month.
