เน๊ะกับคู่ชีวิตพยายามมีลูกด้วย IVF มาหลายรอบ จนจากคู่ที่คบกันมา 7–8 ปีแทบไม่เคยทะเลาะ วันหนึ่งเน๊ะถึงกับร้องไห้แล้วถามว่า ทำไมไม่พูดสักทีว่า “พอแล้ว หยุดทำเถอะ” อีกฝ่ายก็บอกว่าไม่เคยบังคับเลย จะหยุดเมื่อไรก็ได้ #IVF #มีลูกยาก แต่สำหรับเน๊ะ สองประโยคนี้มันไม่เหมือนกัน เพราะคำว่า “เธอหยุดได้” ยังแปลว่าตัวเองต้องเป็นคนตัดสินใจว่าความฝันเรื่องมีลูกจะจบตรงนี้ ทั้งที่รู้ว่าอีกฝ่ายก็อยากมีลูกสาวเหมือนกัน สุดท้ายทั้งคู่เลยต้องมาคุยกันจริง ๆ ว่าจะไปต่ออีกแค่ไหน รอบนั้นผลออกมาว่ามีตัวอ่อนรอด 3 ตัว และเป็นตัวอ่อนผู้หญิงเกรด AA 2 ตัว แต่เราอ่านแล้วกลับจำช่วงก่อนรู้ผลได้มากกว่า บางทีเวลาคนหนึ่งเหนื่อยจนแทบไม่ไหว สิ่งที่อยากได้ยินอาจไม่ใช่แค่ “ถ้าไม่ไหวก็หยุดนะ” แต่อาจเป็น “พอแล้ว เราหยุดด้วยกัน” เพราะอย่างน้อยคำว่าพอก็ไม่ต้องเป็นหน้าที่ของคนเดียว
