I have some questions 🤔. #JasmineCrockett mentioned that she is uncertain about her involvement in the US #Senate race, but she is actively supporting down-ballot races throughout #Texas. Additionally, reports indicate that #JamesTalarico invited her to be a keynote speaker at the Texas Democratic Convention, yet she has not responded to his invitation. If I recall correctly, Talarico's campaign has stated that they do not need to focus on the black vote, and according to #KeithEdwards, a strong supporter of Talarico, Jasmine is considered too polarizing, which is part of her brand. So, what has changed? How does Jasmine plan to assist Talarico in appealing to white voters, or does the campaign believe she can help mobilize black voters in Texas? Oh, I see now. The campaign (not James) advised her to take a step back, and she complied, but what has really changed? It's worth noting that 92% of black voters supported her, and that doesn't even account for all of them, as there are 4.5 million registered black voters in Texas. The reason I keep emphasizing NOT JAMES is that while his intentions may be good, his campaign and supporters could potentially alienate him from #blackvoters in Texas. JUST SAYING!

The differences between #JasmineCrockett and #JamesTalarico. In 2021, Jasmine spearheaded the quorum break against the #Republicans' Anti-Voter Bill. However, it was James Talarico who was the first to return to #Austin, effectively breaking the quorum. His actions brought Republicans closer to achieving the quorum they required. His fellow #Democrats were quite vocal about their disapproval. In this clip Jasmine Crockett reminds Texans that during the 2021 quorum break, she stayed in DC holding the line with her Democratic colleagues while James Talarico returned to Austin to negotiate with Republicans and help to establish quorum. In the first draft of new Texas house boundaries, Talarico would have been completely drawn out of a seat, but after returning, he negotiated for a new district that included his parents’ home. Talarico was open about using their address to run in 2022 in the newly drawn HD-50. This is why James gives John Fetterman vibes
