He is the antithesis of what Reverend Jesse Jackson represented. I listened to the entire ceremony last night and paid close attention to each of the speeches. As a right-winger, I am able to understand the undeniable importance of Reverend Jesse Jackson in the contemporary history of the United States and his defense of civil rights. All the speeches were dignified and respectful, without exception, honoring the memory of Reverend Jesse Jackson, who, even though he was a left-wing figure, was always a true Democrat. The abusive, deceitful, vulgar, and low-class intervention of the sadistic Gustavo Petro was a complete disgrace to such a solemn event. Furthermore, no one understands how such a self-important, abusive, immoderate, pathological liar, and wretched individual, who supposedly lacks a US visa and is supposedly on the OFAC list, could have appeared in that solemn event.
