Glowing red lava fountains continue to erupt at #Kilauea summit this Christmas Eve. #HVO scientists monitored the eruption from the caldera rim, measuring fountain heights at ~246 ft (75 m). The fountains feeds lava flows that were observed moving tens of yards (meters) per hour.
