Thank you, Sacramento 🫡 After 4 incredible years in the Capital City, I’ll be leaving CBS Sacramento From covering two Super Bowls, to the #Kings breaking their playoff drought to a stadium relocation or a move to the FBS (and all the viral moments in between). This chapter in Northern California will be one of incredible growth, opportunity & dreams fulfilled. It all wouldn’t have been possible without some of the best teammates I’ve ever had in Sara Hodges & Brandon Benitez - You are both truly family ❤️ Thank you to everyone in the 916/209 — from the ride-or-die fans to my team at CBS13 & Good Day Sacramento — for allowing me to be me. And to all the SID’s, coaches and players who trusted me with the opportunity to tell your stories, thank you. Sacramento sports fans are in good hands. The market is filled with incredibly talented reporters that I had the honor & pleasure of working with. #Sacramento was never a part of the plan - I came to #NorCal knowing no one, taking a leap of faith. I leave with more friends and memories than I can count. In the end, I hope I’ve left the city better than I found it 🫶
