One of the least reported #KukiAtrocities in Manipur have been their continuous blockades and extortion along the national highways, the lifelines of Imphal valley. Such crimes continue to happen in broad daylight (Refer Video 1). Such crimes have blocked essential supplies to more than 15 lakh people of the Imphal valley. Rampant extortion along these highways (Refer Fig 2) have increased the sufferings of people residing in Imphal Valley. By September, the prices of essential items had increased between 10 percent and 30 percent depending on the item. Fruit and fish had became 50 percent costlier compared to other states (Refer Fig 2) . All this burden is imposed upon a population who have been ruined economically and have to support tens of thousands of their fellow Bharatiyas in relief camps.
