Attorney General #LetitiaJames on Friday released body camera footage from four corrections officers involved in an incident that led to the death of #RobertBrooks. One officer has resigned and 13 have been suspended without pay. I am very angry bcuz I sick and tired of our black men being brutalized by these white boys in these jails. Let me say this…I fully understand how serious his initial crime was in 2016. I also understand that he had been in custody since 2017! I also read that he has a family that cares for him…he was still loved and I will NEVER forget what my mother always said, “Everybody is somebody’s child”, and his mother had to watch that. However, this man was in custody and during this transport He was handcuffed!!! They actually shoved a white towel down his throat…this is ONLY an excerpt and FOURTEEN officers have been associated with this situation!!! New York Governor #KathyHochul was totally appalled at this grotesque treatment…EVERYONE HAS BEEN SICKENED, BUT HOW LONG WILL THIS CONTINUE??????????? It has ALREADY BEEN TOO DAMN LONG… Sheriff #CraigDumond state, "No human being should be treated that way by another human being.
