Q: how long have you been in this industry? #mimrattanawadee #มิ้มรัตนวดี Mim: actually I’ve been auditioning since I was 7, but people started to recognize me since Wasana Rak (วาสนารัก). It’s with channel 3, but I’ve always been a freelance actor, I’ve never signed with any channel. It wasn’t until P’Tha gave me the opportunity, so I got to sign with GMMTV to do GL and get to pair with P’View. Q: It changed your roles (career)? Mim: Yes, it changed my role and I’m happy with where I am now Q: You started auditioning when you were 7, but people only started recognizing you recently. How many years was that? Mim: Oi, right now I’m 22 Q: Wow that’s a really long time kid Mim: Yes, a very long time Q: Did you ever think that you’d go do something else? Mim: There were times. I’ve passed that point. I’m proud because it took time to reach here, and it really wasn’t easy at all. I had to go through everything like perseverance, commitment, failure, continuing to prove myself, like I had to do everything… Oi, don’t let me keep talking, I’m going to cry. Q: So it was your dream to enter the industry, and you experienced a lot until one day you felt that you’ve made it Mim: Yes, it’s when I realized people love me because of my role as Yaem, and besides loving the character Yaem, people remember me as Mim Rattanawadee, and they gave me the nickname of Horror Queen and keep supporting my future projects. And when the seniors (decision makers) gave me the opportunity and believed in me that I could play this role. So this is the place I used to dream about, and now I finally have this opportunity. Q: What was your first project? Mim: It was the series Full House, but when I was a kid, I didn’t think much about it. I was just happy to be in a series, and I made it.
