#MLBTogether continued its goal of volunteering 250,000 collective volunteer hours - in celebration of America’s 250th birthday - this year by teaming up with DREAM Series players in Arizona to benefit Foster Love. Players spent Saturday morning giving back by decorating and assembling duffle bags with everyday essentials for local foster children in Tempe.

As part of the league’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday, #MLBTogether launched a league-wide volunteer campaign on Thursday with the intent to achieve 250,000 collective volunteer hours by the end of 2026. With Foster Love serving as the inaugural volunteer event partner, more than 60 MLB staff members assembled "Sweet Cases" for children in the foster care system. By providing children with hand-decorated duffle bags and essential comfort items, the MLB community is providing support to vulnerable youth.

#MLBTogether and the Atlanta Braves Foundation, in partnership with Cobb PARKS and the Rhyne Park Girls Softball Association, unveiled a renovated softball complex that includes three new turf fields, a new batting cage, updated fencing, painting, windscreens, and more to help provide year-round quality access to the next generation of softball athletes.
