Mahsa Amini’s father talked of standing strong despite being denied permission to travel in order to receive Sakharov Prize from European Parliament, . Sepideh Qolian talked of resistance from inside the notorious Evin Prison and 13 victims of Revolutionary Guards who were killed but remained unbowed. I’ve said it before and will keep repeating: we need to stop appeasing the Islamic Republic. We must criminalize the gender apartheid regime of Iran and Afghanistan in all international laws.
