BOLD Statement from #Nani: The reason I say, “Don’t call my film Pan-Indian,” is: If a Hindi film becomes a big success in Telugu and Tamil versions, it is still called a Hindi film. It is not called a “Pan-Indian film.” But if a Telugu or Tamil film does well across the country, it is immediately called a “Pan-Indian film.” I don’t understand the term “Pan-India.” Why is this term introduced only for South Indian films? Why not for Hindi films as well?
