The birds don't stand a chance. Sticks are coated in a glue-like substance, forming a deadly trap. Known as 'lime sticks', birds land on them, struggle and either die or are killed later by trappers. 60 different species have been trapped this way. #OperationDeadAir

The excellent team at Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) have been out again and seen Akas trapping– with Police nowhere to be seen. 9 nets in total were active with hundreds of song birds seen flying around in the area. We must stop this slaughter. #OperationDeadAir |
