Anniversary of the Liberation of Kobanê. The officers and #Peshmerga of the(1st Support Forces Command) played a crucial role in the liberation of Kobanê and its surrounding villages. Under the orders of President Massoud Barzani, the #Peshmerga took part in freeing and defending these areas from #ISIS terrorists. Eleven years after the liberation of #Kobanê, enemies of the Kurdish people continue to scheme against Kurdish regions. However, President Masoud Barzani remains actively engaged with foreign countries and the officials of West Kurdistan to once again safeguard the land and people of West Kurdistan. The unity of the #Kurdish people everywhere is a source of pride for us all. We honor the souls of the martyrs of Kurdistan, and especially the martyr (Zerevan Akram), who was martyred in Kobanê and stood as a shield in defense of #Kurdistan against terrorists.
