“When I told #Rajinikanth about the idea for #Petta, he loved it. But at that time, he had already announced #Kabali with #PaRanjith. So, I shared the idea with him, and he said it was very good. However, he wanted to finish #Kabali first. After that, nothing happened for three years. Then, #Rajinikanth called me again and asked, ‘Can I listen to the script you told me about one more time?” - #KarthikSubbaraj

#KarthikSubbaraj: "I did #Mercury, then did #Petta with Thalaivar, but many says that my best work was #Iraivi. More than Iraivai, now #Dorothy is close to human emotions. I was supposed to do it after #Mahaan, but did #JigarthandaDouleX & #Retro. After Retro, even when Big Hero or Big budget comes, I was very confident, that i should do Dorothy first & then take up any other big films"

#MalavikaMohanan: "When i was shooting for #Petta, I was new comer at that time. Had combinations with #Trisha. She was so sweet and she made me comfortable. We were shooting at Varanasi, used to hangout. When i signed #Master, she messaged me 'Hey Babe, I'm so happy for you, this is huge & congratulations'. It takes genuine heart to do that"
