Many #Ethiopians dismiss that notion as "conspiracy theory". Now, that accusation is CONFIRMED to be true by Prince Asfawossen Asrate Kassa, a son of former Governor of Eritrea Ras Asrate Kassa, an Ethiopian aristocrat and first cousin of the emperor, who also recruited Isaias to infiltrate Jebha. IMO, what seems to happen later is that :- 1) While Isaias was doing his mission of dismantling Jebha from within, things changed in Addis Ababa, Emperor Haileselassie was overthrown and his mission was aborted, which rendered him stuck, and that circumstance forced him to change course. 2) He may have had an "Aha" moment that prompted him to become an evil monster of his own.
