#PsMithran in a Recent Interview ⭐: "Sardar Part 1's interval block is the jail sequence. But when I shot it, it was actually the opening sequence. Even in the edit, it was placed in the intro. When I showed the movie to people, they were like, “Gaandu aagitanga.. Nallave illa padam'nu sollitanga.” 😅 Already, the first 40 minutes were weak. So if that 40 minutes came after the Sardar intro, padam paduthruchu. So we changed the jail sequence into the interval block. Initially, Sardar escaping from prison was supposed to be the interval block..."

The story was about a guy working in an IT company and how he goes in search of something and discovers whether it really exists in this world. There were no action elements like the ones seen in Irumbu Thirai. Even today, if you watch Irumbu Thirai, there is no action in the first half.
