Martin Scorsese tapped Jesse Plemons for his last two films- The Irishman & Killers of the Flower Moon- & in both, Plemons steals scenes & holds his own with actors like Robert De Niro & Leonardo DiCaprio. I can’t think of a better endorsement than from Marty. #ScorseseSundays

In hindsight, I was wrong to pick Oppenheimer over Killers of the Flower Moon as the best movie of 2023. KOTFM is the better film & Scorsese deserved Best Picture over Nolan. The lasting power behind KOTFM is going to be so powerful because this is so well done. #ScorseseSundays

Not only did Goodfellas not win the Oscar for Best Picture, the film only won one Oscar in total (Pesci for Best Supporting). The fact Thelma Schoonmaker didn’t win for Best Editing is as egregious of an Oscar snub as I’ve ever seen. Goodfellas deserved better. #ScorseseSundays

Martin Scorsese is one of my biggest heroes. He’s simply the reason I started this account. I started #ScorseseSundays in his honor 6 years ago. But news today of Marty signing on for AI that supposedly replaces storyboard artists is- in one word- devastating. I’m a bit shocked.
