During a conversation with Evolution of Horror, the host pointed out that the last two installments leaned heavily into gore and carnage, asking what audiences should brace themselves for in #SCREAM7. 😶🌫️ Neve Campbell responded thoughtfully: “I think it’s not as gory, but there are definitely scenes that are very gory, you know what I mean? I had felt that those last 2 were sort of, uh, went in a direction that was sort of off path with Wes, with how he did gore, or how he did the killings, and I had felt that for my personal preference, it was a bit far, ya know? If it’s grounded, it’s okay. It’s going to be more effective, if it’s grounded. But you’re definitely gonna get some of that, for sure. For the people who love gore, it’s definitely there.” Grounded. #Scream7 director Kevin Williamson reacts to the pro-Palestine protestors who gathered outside the film’s premiere calling for a boycott: “We live in a world where a lot of bad things are happening out there, and I think a lot of people want to be heard and they want to have their voice heard about the bad stuff that’s happening,” Williamson told Variety. “My heart goes out to them. I don’t know if canceling Paramount+ is the way to do it.
