#Sudan | A shocking video allegedly documents the abuse of military and civilian detainees inside the “Dagris” prison in Nyala, including torture, starvation, and denial of medical care, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the rights of prisoners. The prison reportedly holds large numbers of detainees abducted by the UAE-backed #RSF terrorist militia, allegedly as a means of blackmail, intimidation, and pressure on community leaders. These brutal practices must be condemned in the strongest terms. The RSF and its alleged sponsors bear responsibility for the safety of the detainees. The United Nations and international human rights organizations are urged to launch an independent and urgent investigation, establish the facts, hold those responsible accountable, and ensure the detainees are either released or treated in accordance with international law.

#Sudan 🇸🇩: A fighter of Sudanese Army posted a video with an Elmech “EM 992” bolt-action sniper rifle which is extremely rare in the region. The rifle is originally manufactured in #Croatia 🇭🇷 and chambered in 7.62x51mm #NATO. Unfortunately it's not clear how it was obtained.
