Once October rolls around, it's Bridge School Season! Pearl Jam's 2nd year BridgeBenefitConcert featured the debut of Jack Irons. In this clip, Ed's vocals are somehow both soaring and restrained. 💚 #tfh "Black," Oct. 2, 1994:

"Good evening, welcome to the Ice Bowl." 26 years ago today Pearl Jam played Alpine Valley...in 30 degree weather! The band powered through, and this performance was memorably captured on 'Touring Band 2000.' #tfh "Dissident," Oct. 8, 2000:

Glen Hansard was Eddie Vedder's most frequent musical collaborater of the past 2 decades. Earthlings, Flag Day and as opening act, Glen was a staple. Here he takes Ed's gorgeous vocalization of a guitar solo and repeats it at the end of the song. RIP #tfh

When Glen Hansard took over in 2011 as the opening act for Eddie Vedder solo tours, he inherited duet duty on this song. Glen's guitar playing, singing voice and instantaneous connection with Ed endured for 15 years. RIP #tfh "Society," Sept. 24, 2019:

Look at this footage!!! Pristine video recently shared online from Pearl Jam's Houston gig, 35 years ago today! We're total suckers for young Ed-Jeff leaning on one about while performing. #tfh "State of Love and Trust," Sept. 30, 1991:

Today makes it 30 (THIRTY!) years since Eddie Vedder stunned the David Letterman crowd by joining Paul Shaffer's house band for a taste of Pearl Jam. Ed walks in, whips out a mic, delivers his searing vocals and then 'he's ghost.' #tfh "Black," Feb 27, 1996:

31 years ago today was one of the most trying days in Pearl Jam history. Ed fell ill before the massive Golden Gate Park crowd. Thankfully, Neil Young stepped in for a set of Neil classics and 'Mirror Ball' goodness! #tfh "Peace and Love," June 24, 1995:

35 years ago today Pearl Jam played a free show at Seattle's Mural Amphitheater. It featured: ☑ PJ's largest crowd to date (4000) ☑ Dave A's 1st performance with PJ ☑ Our favorite rendition of this song #tfh "Breath," Aug. 23, 1991:

This one's become a litmus test for Pearl Jam crowds: When will they recognize THAT chord progression? Never have fans cheered earlier in recognition of what's to come than 15 years ago today at PJ20. "You ready? Yeah!" #tfh "It's Ok," Sept. 4, 2011:
