The driver of this Nissan was dawdling at 45-50mph in lane two of the M3 in Sunbury. ⚖️COURT RESULT⚖️ On 01/06/2024, during #OpsDownsway, this motorcyclist was observed by #VanguardRST on Reigate Road, Buckland crossing solid white lines on two occasions to overtake other cars, whilst in excess of the speed limit and then failing to notice the unmarked police car with blue flashing lights behind them, for a period of time. The rider was later found Guilty in court on the 24/03/2025, of driving at excess speed and without due care and attention, and issued 5 points and a £300 fine per offence, as well as £90 in costs and £240 in victim surcharge – Totalling 10 penalty points and £930! This Nissan Qashqai was seen to remain in lane 3 at 50mph, despite lanes 1 and 2 both being clear. When stopped by #VanguardRST officer the driver was found to have no insurance and the tints were so dark the vehicle was in a dangerous condition. This lane hogger was reported to court and vehicle seized.
