I used to go meet him every day regarding Sarpatta 2. He said he was going to do a small film called Vettuvam in 60 days. I asked him, “Am I a part of the film?” But he said, “Illa da, neeyellam illa.” Then, one day, he called me and said, “Vettuvam la oru character irukku, nee pannanum.” I asked him what the story was. It has multiple genres, including apocalyptic, world ending, and a bit of sci-fi elements. I personally liked Thangalaan, but he felt that it didn’t reach many people..
