At the #ysl #youngthug trial, compelled witness Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland makes allegation that he was jammed up on a fake probation violation for 3 weeks in retaliation for being uncooperative during a prior investigation into a drive by targeting him. Says his probation officer claimed she didn’t write-up the alleged probation violation and “it had nothing to do with her; she couldn’t speak on it.” While every guy that gets locked up will give you 1,000 reasons why he’s innocent, it’s interesting that this is the prosecution’s witness and they didn’t try and rebut the claim. That doesn’t prove it of course, but you have to wonder how it plays with the jury. Woody’s testimony was all over the map, and it was generally a rough day for the prosecution given his inability to recall key details they’re basing their case on. One could be forgiven for inferring Fani Willis’s DA office was trying to convict by innuendo and not through proving their case.
